Arno & Cap deliver the first edition of our new B2B series, culminating in more than two hours of rousing sound.

The two are familiar faces in the minimal clubbing scene and have both DJed in many well-known clubs over the past decade. It was an obvious choice to bring the two together for a night of clubbing, as their effortless chemistry and easy-going attitude propagated in the entire room. They get music, and they get digging even more.

The mix was recorded in early September '21 at our new venue and captures the energy and excitement of the dance floor, the experience, and the dancers of that night. It pumps from the get-go and is sure to thaw you out throughout the chilly month of February. 

Roaming the genres with a light-hearted attitude and a clear vision of fun, the set is full of unexpected twists to throttling bass, spiraling synths, cheeky drums and break corners that are bursting with passion, vibrancy, and magic. 

No less can be said about their podcast, which drifts unconventionally through styles, eras, tempos, and moods. Sehr lustig!

The demure appearance of Romanian artist Praslea belies his deep involvement in the music industry. With his name appearing on top events, especially in his home town of Bucharest, circa 2007, Florin Cunțan is a certified don of our scene. Having been inducted into the [a:pia:r] clique from an early age his “Jurnal De Bord” EP way back in 2009 he has hardly been prolific, but this is not where his real talent lies. With his solo credentials above reproach, it is par for the course for Praslea and his peers to perform together even at the biggest of events. So, it is hardly surprising that two artists from this family should join forces on the regular and that partnership is Praslesh. Rhadoo is one of the most important figures in Romanian minimal scene, as well as the underground scene. His DJ and production skills knows no boundaries. His style blends the old with the new, adding new elements to modern electronic music. In 2007, he founded the label [a:rpia:r] with his trusted friends Petre Inspirescu and Raresh. The label’s reputation grew rapidly worldwide and is now a solid platform for artists and music connoisseurs.

Creating worlds never seen before and the constant return to nature as the ultimate designer and source of inspiration are the prosperous obsessions shaping the artistic practice of Silviu Vișan a.k.a Dreamrec. Growing up around his artisan father who was building oversized toys for an amusement park turned into the perfect context to learn about the emotional experience of immersive environments and the secrets of morphing a place into an event. Not to mention it was the starting point for the self-thought wizard to try his hand at DIY magic either bringing joy or conjuring horror. Years later using videofeedback and layers of state-of-the-art software as tools to explore the unusual time&space where computers become genuinely unpredictable and the output becomes a fluid stream of pareidolia, Dreamrec is channeling in international festivals, clubs and art spaces his own visual aesthetic: immersive, mesmerizing and fictional as if visitors / partygoers physically stepped into another dimension.
