TROMPAS LUSAS
The quartet was founded in 2010. In its debut it performed the Konzertstück op.86 for four horns and orchestra by Robert Schumann. The group has been performing regularly in different cities of Portugal and Spain, Germany and UK (such as Oporto, Lisbon, Barcelona, Alicante, Hamburg and London).
The group has premiered works by composers like Kerry Turner, Eurico Carrapatoso, Luís Carvalho, Jon Hansen, Liduino Pitombeira, Jorge Prendas, Cláudio Moreira and Vitor de Faria.
The group shared the stage with renowned hornists, as Ab Koster, Radovan Vlatkovic and Nury Guarnaschelli.
In 2012 was released his debut album, an album that features some works from the standard repertoire for horn quartet as well as world premiere recordings. The album received excellent reviews. The second will be released soon.
The group has been also involved organizing and orienting Horn Festivals and Masterclasses. The quartet has a broad and varied repertoire, which includes Hunting Music, Baroque, Classical and even contemporary and popular music. The group gives special attention to works played with natural horns.

TROMPAS LUSAS
 O quarteto fundado em 2010. Na sua estreia apresentou o Konzertstück op.86 para 4 trompas e orquestra de Robert Schumann. Tem-se apresentado regularmente em concerto em diferentes cidades de Portugal e Espanha, Alemanha e Inglaterra (como Porto, Lisboa, Barcelona, Alicante, Hamburgo e Londres).
O grupo estreou obras de compositores como Kerry Turner, Eurico Carrapatoso, Sérgio Azevedo, Luís Carvalho, Liduino Pitombeira, Jon Hansen, Jorge Prendas, Cláudio Moreira e Vitor de Faria.
O grupo partilhou o palco com conceituados trompistas, como Ab Koster, Radovan Vlatkovic e Nury Guarnaschelli.
Em 2012 foi lançado o seu álbum de estreia, um álbum que apresenta obras do repertório mais tradicional para a formação, assim como obras em estreia mundial. O álbum recebeu excelentes críticas. O segundo álbum será editado brevemente.
O grupo tem estado também envolvido organizando e orientando Festivais de Trompa e Masterclasses.
O agrupamento aborda um repertório amplo e variado, desde a Música de Caça, Barroca, Clássica, até à Música Contemporânea e Popular. O grupo dá especial atenção à execução de obras com trompas naturais.
