Polish live performer, artist, and curator DEAS is set to release his debut on Planet Rhythm on April 19th with "Formation" EP. Known for his otherworldly ability to craft complex soundscapes and improvised loops, DEAS is a multitalented artist who takes pride in his unique approach to techno music.

"Formation" offers listeners a sonic journey through four meticulously crafted tracks, showcasing DEAS' signature style of clinically precise 4/4 techno and inventive groove loops. Tokyo’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘So Loud’ EP. The two-track EP follows up a collaborative EP with Black Asteroid on the label in 2022.

Risa Taniguchi’s title track to her ‘So Loud’ EP on CLR is a brilliantly alluring, stripped-back workout built on thudding kicks. The twitchy synth motifs bring a foreboding atmosphere next to raw percussion, all elements creeping in intensity. The electrifying 'Emission' brings more nervous energy with fizzing synths layering in rich texture over clacking hits and rolling bass. There's an unsettling sense of cosmic turbulence throughout this most stylish of tracks, making for a powerful and essential pair of cuts to lock the crowds in for a late-night trip.

Pan-Pot proudly present the third and final part of the FORTE Remixes on their imprint Second State Audio, featuring reinterpretations by Planetary Assault Systems and Obscure Shape that showcase an innovative and mind-twisting approach to the German duo’s critically acclaimed singles from 2023.

The EP kicks off with Obscure Shape’s ‘CORE (Peak Remix)’, a tribal groovy 90’s inspired techno workout. The deep chord sequence from the original track forms the melodic theme, creating a colorful, epic and emotional atmosphere. With a big bassline supporting the groove, this track is a perfect closer for a sunset set, or to infuse some warmth, color, and energy into the dancefloor. Following this is Planetary Assault Systems’ ‘ARC (Rumble Jungle Remix)’, a seven-minute evolving trip into the sonic world of the genius of Luke Slater. This remix delivers an incredible reinterpretation with a forward-pushing groove, rolling rhythms, a hypnotic sequence and the iconic vocal loop from the original Pan-Pot track. High energy, tension, excitement and class make this a timeless techno gem.

On the flip side, Obscure Shape returns with ‘CORE (Reduced Remix)’, characterized by its captivating rolling top drum groove, stomping kick and incisive bass sequence. A plucked lead evolves throughout the track, while the original vocal sample repeating "paralyzed" adds variation. The EP concludes with Planetary Assault Systems’ ‘ARC (Stomp Maker Remix)’, a harder alternative version of the remix featuring a stompy kick groove, saturated and distorted percussions, and an evolving hypnotic percussive lead. The engaging and intense drum pattern, along with the iconic vocal loop and a bleepy sequence, catapults listeners into a new dimension of sonic depth.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
