The second release before the upcoming mighty new Sven Väth album “Catharsis” gives you another hint at what ́s coming at you! Let us tell you, we couldn ́t be more excited for everyone to finally experience Sven ́s new masterpiece!
But before we unleash the beast, we decided to release a second single. This time containing two absolute highlight tracks. If you have heard Sven playing in the past months, you will recognize both, as they were pivotal moments in almost every set!
First up we have “Mystic Voices“, a track that was created during the early stages of the album production with Sven gathering ideas and words to finally record the unmistakable vocals during a hectic tour through India, and Gregor spending days and nights on the other side of the planet in his studio to process the stream of inspiration. When the two finally sat down together in the studio, the track emerged quickly. Some would call the instant vibe that magic that every creative mind is longing to find.
“Butoh” is a raw and dark force, influenced by Japanese dance, an art form that deeply touched Sven during his travels on Nippon Island. It ́s an otherworldly sounding track, still based in the Techno Realm but heavily twisted by a long break that introduces Japanese percussions that eventually get topped by the haunting vocals of Cana Hatsushiba.

Techno is all too often described as timeless but while most of it eventually evaporates into the ether, there are some riffs, melodies, and breakdowns that remain etched into our collective consciousness forever. Legendary Frankfurt label Harthouse is home to more than its fair share of such moments, but you have to go all the way back to 1992, the opening strains of the Metal Master classic ‘Spectrum’ to locate the source for this special single-sided remix release.
 
The common denominator and catalyst to all this is of course Sven Väth, co-creator of ‘Spectrum’ and founder of both Harthouse and Cocoon Recordings, while the independent variables in the equation are Bart Skils and Weska, who lend their considerable talent and vision to this sublime makeover.
 
Coming on like rolling thunder, sparks fly immediately as crackling vocoder licks, silky ride cymbals and soaring arpeggios build an atmosphere taut with anticipation before giving way to that iconic melody - a love letter from Frankfurt to Ibiza, wrought from metal, drenched in distortion yet pulling at the heartstrings - the perfect soundtrack to any chemical sunrise.
 
It‘s a powerful re-interpretation that pays the warmest respects to the original and, despite the relentless groove, there is still room for sentimentality - an invitation to momentarily pause for thought and reflect on the journey so far as the sumptuous breakdown washes over the dance-floor. But not for long, the simmering bass line soon emerges from the euphoria and the track kicks in again, driving us forward towards a new, uncharted spectrum of possibilities.

Dutch techno icon @secretcinema teams up with rising producer @shaunmoses for a scorching two-track EP. Titled 'Neon Nebula', the EP features two tracks, each showcasing a different facet of the duo's sound. The title-track, "Neon Nebula", is a pulsating, hypnotic cut that builds tension with its intricate percussion and eerie synths. The track gradually intensifies, culminating in a euphoric climax that's sure to ignite dancefloors. The second track, 'Beat Da Dawn', is a brooding, bass-heavy number that's all about the groove. The track's relentless rhythm is punctuated by bursts of metallic percussion, while haunting pads and distorted vocal samples add a touch of darkness to the mix. Having been a part of the label since its inception, Soft Collision's debut on Artificio continues the narrative begun with Imago, his contribution to the compilation Ficciones.   Asterismo is a collection of five spatial, subtly acid-tinged, electro-infused tracks meticulously constructed with evocative melodies and basslines.   From the eponymous opener to the bass-inflected «Conmoción», each track evolves organically, filling unseen voids with a harmonious blend of synth interactions and dynamic rhythms.

Techno queen Nicole Moudaber returns to her Mood Records imprint with another imaginative and classy EP titled 'Seeing It Through'. 

Ahead of the three-track release, Moudaber has handed over the cut 'The Sun At Midnight' to Mixmag for a premiere. The eight-minute track builds with cosmic confidence before descending into airy darkness that extends onto the dancefloor like a slithering haze from piles of dry ice.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
