It brings a whole new feel to the original with its rich analog sounds and effects. My feet can't stop moving to the beats, as the hypnotic sequence seems endless. With multiple releases on the most prestigious Techno labels, this track will only serve to consolidate 2pole's reputation.

bangers - part 2

EXTIMA's 7th release is coming from the ultra-talented DJ/Producers from Seville; Bastet and Rommo [Phobiq, RIOT, IAMT, Black Snake, Made In Brussels]. A dancefloor-killer track; Genesys (Original Mix) is supported by two massive remixes. The first top-notch remix that brings some highly contagious energy is from one of Asia's most promising Techno exports; StoKed. [CODEX, IAMT, SAY WHAT?, Reload, Renesanz, Orange]. EXTIMA's co-owner; Zafer Atabey also delivered a groovy and dancefloor-friendly remix to complete the EP.

Bastet, Rommo - Genesys (Zafer Atabey Remix)

So he's back on Yin Yang. Axel Karakasis with his track Hang Up. The Original track is a rolling baseline hands in the air peak time techno track that is the trademark of this Greek techno legend.  A fine tune.

First remix is by Bosnia and Herzegovina's Alen Milivojevic. This is an amazing remix in a newer much slower groovier style for Alen. It's funking but keeps peak time. This is an absolute belter loud and I can see this be played over and over for along time, especially me.

Next up is Sweden's Andy Notalez for a slightly darker style mix. This guy defines what a darker mix is. Great atmospherics. Great remix.

Then we get Spain s maginfico duo Dualitik. Now this is a funky remix with lots of groove built into the baseline. A Fantastic Remix.

Italy is next with Irregular Synth. Taking it his way thats tougher techno, yet still dark.

Then we have another Spanish guy MAAE. Delivering a new style techno that defines him. Really good.

Another top release for Yin Yang, with plenty of different style of mixes for everyone.

By utilizing a few powerful elements, ‘Drift’ dives into the heavy ethereal creating the perfect balance between tension and serenity. Wrapping up the release Lens delivers the most psychedelic cut of the EP with ‘Resonance’. For his second outing on Senso Sounds, Brazilian DJ / producer Alex Stein drops the Maelstrom EP. Senso is home to all things techno, lovingly curated by label boss Oliver Huntemann, and here Stein unleashes two ferocious tracks that live up the release title. 'Maelstrom' is a driving, lean and mean slice of prime techno goodness. Exhibiting a keen ear for sound design and an even greater sense for drama and tension, Maelstrom is a big room banger with plenty of subtle edges. Likewise, 'Steep' takes no prisoners - crisp percussion and a thick, propulsive kick start things off, before arpeggiated synths, pads and a killer bass pulse take things to the next level. Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
