After over a decade of silence, Fuse Club finally awakens its in-house imprint to redefine the design of contemporary club music. With reinvigorated intentions, the word echoes through its future releases - timeless. These records, finding a home in the Brussels’ 30 year old institution, are crafted to endure a perpetually shapeshifting scene, balancing drive, tension, and introspection. 

First in line to contribute to this project is none other than Fuse’s very own resident Altinbas. Following a string of releases on his own Observer Station, Token, SK_Eleven, and many others, Altinbas tastefully blends atmospheric ambiances and elusive synth work and arrangements - all recontextualized in impressively decisive percussion lines. Creating dimension in each track, the Brussels native whips texture far and wide with persistent tension and a well-rounded low end. 

‘Hunt’ kicks off the EP at full pace with a thickened bassline, rapidly spreading out with the introduction of supporting synths shortly thereafter. Racing through a head spinning arrangement, Altinbas swiftly interchanges hi hats to tame the loose ambiance. A heavier track for the A1, we take a deeper dive into the followup ‘Good Intentions’. Almost without warning, the record takes a dark turn with the apparition of a chilling key to mark the measures. Rolling through with a booming bass drum and all other elements responding in suit, we draw closer to the end to discover an important contrast in the B side. The title track ‘Reshape’ takes a step back in attitude and proposes a carefully crafted classic approach, complete with bouncing dub stabs and shuffled out drum machine sequences. Rising in tension through opening filters and sprinkling in rides, Altinbas performs satisfyingly smooth transitions while remaining playfully in control. This guides us to the finale of the EP, entitled ‘Sphaere’. Switching things up close on a surprise, we’re gifted a harmonic groover - reminiscent of post-90s techno delivered with surgical attention to detail. Tone is central here, boasting a powerful midrange and enough space to let it evolve throughout - a clever conclusion for the first installment of Fuse Imprint.

Klint returns to CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ EP.

French DJ and producer Klint follows up his ‘Immersive Culture’ EP on Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘Kaos Temple’ two-tracker. After having made his debut with the Klint project in 2021, he has made a significant impact in the Techno scene already, with an impressive list of releases on labels like Planet Rhythm, RSPX, Truncate and many more, as well as support from artists like Rodhad, Blawan, and Dave Clarke.

Klint’s ‘Kaos Temple’ on CLR boasts tumbling techno chords, building in anticipation as atmospheric sound effects dart about the mix above, subtle but sturdy rhythms guiding us through the track. ‘Dethroned’ continues, drum machines punching through as hard-hitting claps catch you off-guard. Its infectious low-end crawls below as cavernous synth melodies rear their head occasionally, making for tantalising drops perfect for mind-warping dancefloor frenzies.

PREMIERE: TineX – Euphoric Dream (Specific Objects Remix) [TWICE007]

Bangladeshi-Canadian Lady Tazz has carved out a new, dark, seductive techno sound. Her aim is to make and play music that encourages people to cut loose, be whoever they want to be and release their inner kink. She has done so at plenty of key clubs and festivals, has released on the likes of Rekids and has established Mind Medizin at the centre of this new scene as a vital label but also a selective party series that has hosted across the world.

 Now she births Hermanas, a new series to shine a light on yet more like-minded artists. In Tazz’s own words, “This is a very special Various Artist release for me. The rich and diverse sounds of South America have been a profound source of inspiration for me; it's been a blessing. 
I wanted to place all the wonderful ladies who inspire me and have been making bold moves with respect to their musical careers into one beautiful release. It's an absolute pleasure to bring them all onto the label. 
This VA, as the name explains it, is for the Sisters.” It kicks off with her own 'Turn On You', a glitchy and intense cut with raw techno drums, paranoid vocal murmurings and a frazzled sonic edge that makes it perfect for sleazy warehouses. 
Next is Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz, aka Colombia's RUIZ OSC1, a regular at techno havens like Bassiani and Tresor and on labels like Héctor Oaks's KAOS. Her 'Resolute G' is a chunky tribal number with jumbled percussive loops and zippy pads tearing up the unrelenting and shadowy groove. 
Argentinean Milena Adamis has just lit up Europe with her first tour, having established herself as a refined, versatile resident at Crobar and on the Concepto label. She brings dubbed-out excellence and high-speed drum funk with her stripped-back but impactful mind melter 'Under Depth'. Victoria Mussi is a key part of Paraguay's underground as co-founder of the Inbetween label and the Tango nightclub in Asunción. 
Her superb 'Shine Your Light' is a sleek techno tool that's lit up by trippy melodic sequences, spaced-out cosmic energy and a turbocharged bassline that drives the whole thing onwards. Last but not least is Amanda Mussi, a multifaceted São Paulo DJ and producer, agency owner, resident of several key clubs and tastemaker who plays across house and techno. 'La Hora Caliente' showcases her funky take on loopy techno with some deft pad work and smart filters, all serving to lock dancers into a subtly hard but euphoric groove. Lady Tazz presents Hermanas (Part One) arrives on Mind Medezin on September 27th 2024.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
