In the opening/title track „Step On The Lead“ Rafael puts the pedal to the metal and sets us curbside at a dance floor race track. We feel the bass groove like the noise and heat of engines, and the vocal brings excitement like a live commentator while the percussions are doing their laps.
„Alright“ is a bouncy melodic peak time tune with a dramatic crescendo-to-climax and a tongue-twisting UK-rap vocal.
„Bliss“ keeps the energy levels high, but adds a hint of otherworldliness to its Tech-House canvas by featuring an eerie female vocal with ghostly distortion.
And closing off the record is „Glory“, a cinematic 80s inspired dreamy Indie Dance track that wants to take you for a ride down the 8-bit boulevard.

a welcome reminder of the rude health techno finds itself in during 2017/18. 
First up are STAB Virus, the South African duo of Siphe Tebeka and Makonwabe Bekwa, who are making waves internationally with their uncompromising style. Accompanied by Citizen Kain
- the French producer is adding his own signature slant. 'Torium' is a starkly effective slice of streamlined, sharp edged techno. Label favourite Carlo Ruetz carved out a niche for himself with
his ‘twisted technoid minimal’ sound, a philosophy he continues to adhere to here - 'Sky's Black' bubbles with menace and attitude, fizzing over into moments of barely restrained euphoria.
Mr. Bizz - the duo of two Italian brothers Fabrizio and Matteo Floris - maintain the quality with their cut 'Algarve' - a muscular techno outing with a narcotic, wonky edge. Another regular on the label - the UK’s dubspeeka brings his own flavour to proceedings - 'Aakash' is a superbly crafted burner - a pulsating rhythm track punctuated by abstracted melodic hits.

Four years after his standout Truesoul debut, Cristoph returns with a trio of peak-time weapons. 

Cristoph’s last contribution to Truesoul, ‘Genesis’ / ‘Exodus’, was a masterstroke of deft dancefloor dynamics, imbued with the right balance of polished low-end groove, licks of melody and pin-sharp drums that epitomised his high production standards. To many, both tracks stand as highlights in the imprint’s canon of releases. As such Adam Beyer remained in regular contact with the impressive UK artist, with a follow-up release in mind.

‘Consequence of Society Vol. X’ is his latest contribution and maintains the high bar set. ‘Sleepless Nights’ is driven by an emotive bassline melody and stirring orchestral break and is made for peak-time moments. A fact confirmed by Eric Prydz when he dropped it at Coachella last year during a rousing performance as Cirez D. ‘Starcourt’ is plucky and propulsive, its deep grooves injected with bags of energy thanks to a persistent synth riff that runs throughout. Like its 
predecessor, ‘Hawkins’ reinforces Cristoph’s love of Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ and navigates the EP home with uplifting arpeggios and crisp production techniques.

Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows.
