Great Stuff proudly presents volume eight of it’s “To The Underground” series. The series features solely exclusive tracks. Hand picked with only the dance floor in mind. Tracks that will work crowds and elevate dj sets. 

To The Underground Vol.8 gets under way with Cristian Viviano’s “Dosko & Back To The Roots“. Two deep & raw Techno bombs, both feature gut-wrenching sub frequencies, which were built to deliver full-on energy. Deep, pitched male vocals and the surging grooves are keeping things swinging and jacking.

Up next is Chay & Dead Space’s gloomy “Feel”. This prime time monster consists of the perfect club night essentials: Pitched sleazy vocals, a barking bassline and drilling high powered chords.  

Italy’s up and coming producer Qubiko shakes things up with a big pile of funk and fun. Comforting pads, warm chords and a rumbling, deep tech-house groove are the solid foundation for “Lawrat”.

Precise piano chords & out of space frequencies glide a long a tight knit net of crisp hi-hats, while the rocky bassdrum brings the right amount of bounce. Mike Newman also manages to playfully inject a mellow summer vibe into his “Regression” composition.

The specific hallmark of Pagano’s “Penetralia” is its thick, straight forward groove and huge bassline that supports the haunting pads and effects in the most modish way. Full on peak time material!

Vozmediano is closing off this fine collection of top grade electronic music. His “Inside” track is all about the distinguishing and extremely intense Techno groove. Synth patterns lead the way through effect-soaked percussion sounds and warped builds.

The new Intec release is from Russian born and NYC based Boris who has featured on imprints such as Tronic, Toolroom, Suara, SCI+TEC, Phobiq, Terminal M, and his own label Transmit Recordings.

Boris made his first solo release on Intec in 2017 and this much anticipated follow up is nothing less than exceptional.

Having been a resident at nearly every major club in his home city of New York, including venues like Pacha, Crobar, and Roxy, Boris has also travelled the world playing headline DJ sets everywhere from Japan to Ibiza, and with a busy schedule this release showcases why he is in such constant high demand.

First on the release is the rolling groove of Jump Around which has a fusion of fast flowing percussion and chanting vocal phrases. Up-tempo and packed with energy, this techno track has tribal elements perfect for peak time DJ sets.

Raw Silk is second on the release with thundering percussion and the ominous loom of a dark and commanding vocal, which adds intensity to the track's already ferocious groove. Hard hitting and taking no prisoners, this dancefloor focused techno monster is tailor made for club sound systems.

Finishing things off is What U Gonna Do and its combination of stabbing synths, grinding bass tones and screaming female vocals. Chunky and funky, this has a great party vibe blended with a shadowy atmosphere which builds invigorating tension as the track develops.

Label boss teams up with one of the heavyweights of the techno world in D-Untiy to collaborate on a heavy pounding techno tune called Pressup. To complete the pack we recruited the techno maestro Eric Sneo and the newcomer Any Mello who both delivered two monster remixes to form one massive hit of a release. A must-have.

We welcome Pagano to Tronic for a three track EP.  The Italian, London based producer delivered a great single with lots of power and strong hooks. We recruited Eric Sneo for remix duties and he supplied a storming version of 'How Long'!

UK based Italian Pagano has a pretty serious CV. Playing a blend of House and Techno with his own reworks of classics, Pagano has crafted a solid niche for himself.

A keen studier of sound, the man is obsessed with finding obscure gems and unique cuts and layering them together in his own inimitable manner”

This led him to share DJ booths with Nicole Moudaber, Nina Kraviz, Boris from Berghain, Christian Smith, Monika Kruse, Mark Knight, Chus & Ceballos, Kaiserdisco, Coyu, Dennis Ferrer, Horse Meat Disco, David Penn, Joey Negro, Satoshi Tomiie and many others.

As a producer, Pagano has released on many labels worldwide: TOOLROOM, TRONIC, 1605, NERVOUS, DEEPERFECT, UNITY, BITTEN, STEREO / IBERICAN, PACHA, MINISTRY OF SOUND and others. In 2015 Pagano launched his own independent label KISM Recordings. During his career he has produced official remixes of tracks from Yoko Ono (aka ONO), Danny Tenaglia, Billie Ray Martin, Mauro Picotto, Robin S, De'lacy, Kathy Brown and others. 

His productions have been supported during their DJ sets or Radio Shows by a variety of DJs including CARL COX, ADAM BEYER, UMEK, DANNY TENAGLIA, NICOLE MOUDABER, PACO OSUNA, MARK KNIGHT, CHUS & CEBALLOS, ROGER SANCHEZ, SKREAM, TENSNAKE, FORMAT:B, TIESTO, PAUL VAN DYK, DAVID GUETTA, BOB SINCLAR and many others. Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows.
