Body music, mind music, ass-shaking and head-boggling, Clay Wilson’s third release on The Bunker New York is a dance EP that manages to be both restrained and cacophonous, speaking to his classical training as well as his years as a DJ, producer and sound tech. Since we first met Clay as a new-to-New York City Bunker party regular back in the Public Assembly days, through releasing his earlier music and having him join us at numerous label showcases around the world, we’ve come to know him as an exceptional producer and DJ, an essential part of The Bunker family and a regular fixture in our lineups. This new release is an expression of the deep relationship we’ve all forged through years of raving together - of freaking out to an unreleased track on the dance floor only to find out your friend made it and then getting a crew together to remix it and put it out!

We heard the original of Osho and decided to give it the remix treatment in order to bring out the various dimensions of the track that were percolating in the background. While the original version is subtly shifting with a cascade of rhythm at the forefront, the Jasen Loveland remix acidifies the track by about 420% and in the process adds a punch of darkness that takes the track solidly into late night territory. Derek Plaslaiko’s “oogly boogly” remix delivers on the promise of both oogling AND boogling, and if you can figure out what that means please tell us, but it likely refers to the jangly swing that loosens up Clay’s tight production to great effect. rrao’s contribution to the mix, following up her debut production on the 15 Years of The Bunker compilation in January, is a subtle and weird version with a murmuring vocal amping up the surreal abstraction, a real departure from the original that nonetheless preserves its character.

Our latest release Caisa came to us as a demo by Patricio Chiriboga from Ecuador, and it didn't take Gregor very long see its potential. He says: „I think this is one of the biggest tracks I signed for Break New Soil ever!“  Everywhere Gregor plays it out, people come running to the booth asking what it is - so this time we believe we don't go too far by predicting: We might have a future classic here.

When we thought of who could remix this, Kevin De Vries' name came to Gregor's mind right away - and Kevin delivers once again with a spaced out, arpeggiated bigfloor version that still keeps the original in mind but adds Kevin's signature sound!

Gabriel Ananda's Soulful Techno label is back after a couple of months of absence! With new found flair and a fresh look the German imprint is ready to bring you some of the finest soulful techno music out there, and we kick things off with this 2-tracker by Serhan Guney.

Serhan Guney is a Turkish music producer that has been supported by DJs such as Solomun, Joris Voorn, Sasha and many more and has already released on Diynamic, Manual Music, Dear Deer and Beatfreak Limited to name a few.

His musical taste can vary from melodic techno for the dance floors, through emotional deep house melodies for the listeners, to acoustic piano compositions. An ideal match for Gabriel's Soulful Techno philosophy as you will hear now when listening to his two brand new songs; the uplifting 'Mein' and the deeper 'Home'.

Serhan Guney - Mein

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
