Since its inception in 2007, our London based techno collective has always had its focus set on championing underground music through its resident Dj's and selected guests, playing at various events in the U.K and abroad. We are very excited to be taking the different shades of house and main room techno sound that has made Republic Artists a long standing and popular fixture in London's nightlife, to a wider audience through Republic Artists Label.

Republic Artists Records first E.P is focused on minimal grooves, classic drums and splashes of Acid that ride the blurred lines between minimal underground house and techno, destined for the club. Jacob B is a Polish producer aged just 21; his productions have been supported by a diverse range of acts, such as Hannah Wants, Mark Farina, Saytek, Citizen, Ben Mono, Amine Adge, De Sluwe Vos, Manooz, JMF, Viadrina, Groove Armada or Tanzlife, and we are thrilled to have him kick start the label for us.

Butch’s newest offering ‘Retechno 2’ is a bass-heavy, dark, two track techno delight. The kick drums are intense, the samples interesting and the synths apparent – Butch’s quirky style of production can be heard throughout. We welcome Ukrainian techno talent Skober for his first release on Tronic! Skober delivers two phat tracks that’s have been road tested by Christian for several months. “Butterfly Effect” is a musical techno affair that works perfectly to change to mood in a rocking set. “Keep Calling” is a tough housy groover that uses a female vocal sample in the break. Both tracks work a treat. Give them a try and see for yourself!

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
