Brazilian techno powerhouse of the moment WEHBBA brings us his latest installment on Tronic with his 3 track “Awkward Vacation” EP proving he is here to stay.
No stranger to Tronic, WEHBBA has been drip-feeding us a steady stream of powerful productions on the label for the last few years, since 2009. His stellar production skills have earned him collaborations with the biggest artists of today including Laurent Garnier, Christian Smith, ANNA, John Digweed and Joseph Capriati.
On this EP, “Awkward Vacation” and “Flux” are two serious peak time affairs with his trademark groove throughout accompanying a booming bass. The tracks have been a pumped out by many DJ’s this summer season with a roaring reaction from dance floors worldwide.
On the other hand, “Ascent” is a no compromise electro track reminiscent of classic Detroit, but with a more modern production approach to its production techniques.

Legend has it that AERO was born when the Pan-Pot boys were testing out HADERLUMP Berlin's top-secret jet, they broke the sound barrier so violently that it ripped a melody straight from the sky. The shockwave sent a frequency through the cockpit's radio, perfectly harmonized, as if the heavens themselves were composing a track. Stunned, they crash-landed into a field of synthesizers and recorded the ethereal sound before it vanished. Scientists tried to explain it, but no earthly logic could decode the airborne symphony. The track remains the only known collaboration between man, machine, and the atmosphere itself. As this is the very untrue origin story of HUMAN_001_AERO by Pan-Pot off their brand new HUMAN series under the just revamped Second State label. The date is April 3rd. DJUS steps up with Bring It Back EP, a four-track journey into the essence of groovy and rolling techno. With an undeniable focus on rhythm, energy, and movement, this EP blends hypnotic drum patterns, deep basslines, and sharp percussive elements into a fluid, dynamic experience.

We start off with 'Conga Circus' that sets the tone with infectious tribal energy, driven by rolling congas and a tightly woven percussive groove. A pulsing bassline carries the track forward, while layers of organic percussion create a hypnotic swing that feels both raw and refined. As the tension builds, playful rhythmic variations and subtle synth stabs add depth, making this a perfect tool.

Next up is 'Glassified' - a deeper and more textural ride, this track balances crisp drum work with shimmering, glassy synth textures that float above a chunky, rolling low end. The interplay between tight, syncopated percussion and evolving atmospheres creates a mesmerizing push-and-pull effect, keeping dancers locked in the rhythm while the track unfolds with delicate yet driving intensity.

The third track on the EP 'Tap Tap' is all about bounce and movement. A groovy bassline works in perfect harmony with sharp, tapping percussion elements that dance around the stereo field. Funk-infused hi-hats and filtered synth loops add a playful touch, while subtle vocal snippets sneak in and out, enhancing the hypnotic effect. Closing out the EP with a pure roller 'Up And Down' that leans into a loopy, hypnotic structure where layered percussion, deep sub grooves, and evolving textures create an irresistible forward motion. The bassline swells and dips, mirroring the track’s title, while airy synth pads bring a spaced-out contrast to the rhythmic intensity. A true late-night groover that’s both immersive and driving, sealing the EP with style.

Having performed with musicians like Surgeon, Tom Hades, Paul Birken, Deas, and Esther Duijn, Piotr Figiel has made a name for himself in the Polish scene and beyond. In addition to being the owner of RWETES, he counts releases on Developer's Modularz, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, Lex Gorrie's Unknown Territory, H.Paul's Induxtriall, and collaborations with Rraph and Marboc.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Incident" with its gritty, mechanical groove. Tension builds as the eerie atmosphere is met with robotic growls and groans that creates an ethereal sound of dystopian, sci-fi like effects, all of which geared to rocking the dance floor.

Tronic is one of the most established and longest-running techno labels in the world. Founded in 1994 by Christian Smith while he was attending University, the label now has over 430 releases under its belt. Christian and his team have paved the way for many artists including ANNA, Dosem, Wehbba, and more recently Drunken Kong. Tronic's main philosophy is simple: nonpurist, honest, house and techno. The label has released countless of artist albums and is regularly supported by the top players in the industry. Some outstanding releases have been Christian Smith's remixes of Carl Craig's seminal 'At Les" song, which has become one of the biggest vinyl sales releases of the past decade. Other notable releases and remixes came from Laurent Garnier, and Underworld. The weekly Tronic Radio show is being syndicated on over 120 stations worldwide and has had over 500 shows. With regards to events, Tronic has had a successful 15-week season in Ibiza at the 3000-capacity Eden super club, while also hosting arenas at established festivals, and doing over 100+ club events worldwide from Tokyo to London, Sao Paulo, and Detroit.
