Launched in 2012 by Sacha Mambo, Macadam Mambo is a catalyst of influences serving a rich musical vision. Calling to the asphalt of the ”Macadam Massacre" of Béruriers Noirs, mythical French punk band and one of the Sacha’s biggest influences, as well as to the black magic of a Voodoo priest guiding the souls during ceremonies, Macadam Mambo is name delivering a full universe in its own right.
This month's episode consists of a guest mix by Italian producer and label affiliate Steve Pepe, introduced as usual by label host Sacha Mambo.

To all who surf on this radio wave, i wish good time of the day!

Today is September 17, 1991, time is 4-20 am and outside of my window is dawn, giving impetus to a new day...We broadcast from the studio, which is located on the top of the Rodondo island...The fog is softly spreading, and boldly hiding the sun's rays in the sleeves of its mantle...Would love to devote today's radio show to one interesting phenomenon that once I encountered...

It was one of the days that could be described as the end of the lunar cycle...I fought my way through the abundance of mental barriers and unconscious, emotional outbursts of people around, densely stuffed with their self-identifications...On the way home, I decided to look into the supermarket and, already standing at the checkout, I with corner of my eye caught the weather forecast - it was about an impending powerful cyclone that had already swallowed several states...But, you know, as in most cases, it is very difficult, really, empathically, imbued with emergencies until you meet them face to face...It got noticeably dark on the street during these few minutes that I was trying to organize dinner for myself...
It started to rain...The car was parked on the other side of the road, but I was not destined to get to it...After taking a couple of steps along the pedestrian crossing, I was pulled in into a rotational movement, the flow of my thoughts was quite chaotic, I was shaken in different directions and my mind created a scattered abundance of images - some kind of models taken from the experiences of the past...It was impossible to resist and I let go of absolutely everything...At that moment and ended up in the center of the cyclone...

Surprisingly, it was a rising quiet central low-pressure place in which one can learn how to live eternally...At that moment, the realization came to me that just outside of this center is the rotating storm of one's own ego, competing with other egos in a furious high-velocity circular dance...As one leaves the center, the roar of the rotating wind deafens one more and more as one joins this dance...one's centered thinking-feeling-being, one's own Satoris, are in the center only, not outside....one's pushed-pulled driven states, one's anti-Satori modes of functioning, one's self-created hells, are outside the center...One is off to wheel of Karma, of life, rising to join the Creators of the Universe, the Creators of us...Here we find that we have created Them who are Us...

We are wrapping up the Macadam Mambo takeover with its founder, Sacha Mambo, himself! Curator and self made artist (music & graphic design), S.M. (initials of Sacha Mambo) runs Macadam Mambo since it was created as a collective in 2008 and became later a label in 2012. He’s been djing since 2003 and producing since 2006, but all of this is boring. Sacha is happy when you like and support the choices of Macadam Mambo in terms of music and releases, and the satisfaction that is to see a lot of young and less young people influenced by his work is the greatest reward to him. He will try to continue to provide the most interesting weirdo music from nowadays and to support fresh and talented artists from all around as long as possible.
