Future Forward Music celebrates its 3rd anniversary with a 40-track compilation mix album, entitled 'The Void'. Marking the parent label FFM's 9th release by itself and the 200th release in total including all of its sub-labels, the compilation features 40 previously unreleased tracks from Turkey's finest dance music talents. Traversing many different sorts of genres, the 40-tracker compilation 'The Void' bridges 44 artists in a sonic celebration which encompasses the most essential elements of both rhythm-heavy and melodic energy. From techno to house, electro to breaks, electronica to progressive trance, the wide sphere of influences on 'The Void' is an impressive showcase of talents from a squad of Turkish artists. David Russell Lee is a British DJ, producer and Remixer Icon.

One of the first albums I ever bought on Vinyl in the 90’s was the “Can’t Get High Without You Compilation” And back then I actually thought the artist was really named Joey Negro. Not knowing then that Dave created the name using a mix of Pal Joey “Reach Up To Mars and J. Walter Negro “Shoot The Pump”. He thought at that time, the name Dave Lee was too boring against the likes of junior Vazquez, David Morales and Frankie Knuckles in the House Music Scene. 

Following the George Floyd movement in 2020 Dave Lee dropped the Joey Negro Moniker for good. 

Having such a huge Discography of music to choose from it was difficult for me to discard some amazing tracks. In the end I’ve chosen 40 tracks which mean the most and have the best memories for me, so sorry to my followers and listeners if your favourite tunes didn’t make the Final Cut.

Of course I have to say a huge thank you to Dave Lee for all his hard work, producing such incredible music for all these years. I can’t wait to hear you play live again and will look forward to all your future releases.
