'3rbir el Aaw4' came around quite naturally, on a rainy Belgian afternoon in Rafael's flat, in which, after boiling the water twice for our cup of Smoked Tea, we started playing around on
a slow and progressive tip, working towards some kind of 'eyes closed' atmosphere.  '3rbir el Aaw4' is a reference to this shared ritual and passion for tea drinking. "Hervir el Agua" in Spanish means 'to boil water', and I wanted to use this weird orthography inspired by the translation of Arabic languages into Latin alphabet, as a reference to the mood and the instruments we used in the track.

Sydney Seymour, Barcelona based DJ and producer is an artist focused on exploring musical layers through new electronic downbeats styles. In order to create this 9th single release 'Sorcerer', Seymour took inspiration from the old cartoon Disney movies soundtracks, timeless lessons of blending animated imagery with classical music. Narrating various scenes in form of song, Seymour adds quiet nostalgia for the music of our childhood mixed with musing grooves from the 21st century.

"The tracks were created in the production framework of FAT-ZIG 52  (Von Krup - Schoentl at Freude Am Tanzen), which weren’t included in the demo tracklist where the creative environment derived from a camping marathon in Huasca, Hidalgo. Sonically, the EP compiles the fantastic and occultist spirit of Alekzal and Von Krup when they play together. The use of mandolins in different tunings is inspired by the induced folk through "Led Zeppelin IV". Furthermore you can hear the resource of the click/glitch, which Von Krup started to introduce in his percussive atmospheres since 2018".

“Fosfenos” and “Luces en el lago” features participation of Alekzal, who played the mandolin.

Daniel Wien is a Norwegian Oslo-based Producer, DJ, and live performer who loves those deep tribal and hypnotic beats. His whole intention of music performance is to make a journey, celebration, or a drum ceremony and the whole philosophy springs from years of being and working as a spiritual facilitator.
