" What's On Your Mind [Pure Energy] " es una canción de la banda de synthpop Information Society,  fue lanzado como single en 1988. 
El subtítulo "Pure Energy"  deriva de una muestra de voz de LeonardSimón  Nimoy  (estrella de la serie de TV Star Trek "Errand of Mercy" 
También hay una muestra de voz de Forest Kelley en el episodio "I, Mudd". John Leland de la revista Spin lo calificó como un "disco de baile bastante potente".
En marzo y abril de 2009, VH1 publicó una cuenta atrás de los 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders de los 80. Information Society " What's On Your Mind [Pure Energy] " colocó en el Nº 74 en cuenta regresiva a pesar de que el grupo tuvo otros dos éxitos Top 40: "Walking Away" (Nº 9) y "Think" (Nº 28).
La canción alcanzó el éxito cuando se lanzó en EE.UU en 1988, alcanzando el puesto número 3 en las listas de popularidad de Billboard en octubre de 1988.
La canción fue ofrecida en Loverboy y se incluyó en la banda sonora de American Psycho y David Copperfield usa de esta canción en sus espectáculos de magia.
