After two exact years of music release silence, electronic/pop artist Tropix is officially back with his classic nostalgic sound waves in the form of music. This surprise remix of “Love Again” by The Kid LAROI drop from Tropix & Mannis is particularly special, as it marks Tropix’s first release in two years, following the release of "Sweet Nothings" for Valentine's Day back in 2021.

While he wasn’t working on new music, Tropix established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the world of Web3, DJing & Hosting over 100 metaverse shows and collaborating with more than 60 projects in the Web3/NFT ecosystem. Tropix’s path has led him to experiment to take his own approach in the space to merge the digital and physical worlds through which will be continuing and expanding when the first original releases in 2023.

Tropix's return is made even more special by his collaboration with Chicago-based songwriter and producer Mannis. The two artists connected on TikTok and have been working together seamlessly, using technology to cross-collaborate through sharing screen and audio studio sessions fulfilling that immersive synergy. 

Tropix and Mannis stumbled across The Kid LAROI’s post on his Instagram Story with a link to a dry vocal stem of his vocals  asking artists to remix his new track “Love Again”. They quickly realized what they started for fun turned serious when they created a fun up-beat reimagined version with a fresh, powerful take on this track that harkens back to feel good roots.

Get ready for an exciting year filled with new original music, groundbreaking experiences, and innovative activations. Tropix is bringing his unique blend of the digital and physical worlds to fans everywhere, and this Valentine's Day marks the start of an unforgettable return of new music.

“For The Weekend” tells an all-too-familiar story of lust-over-love.
The track is about making the most out of the time you have while concurrently knowing it’s not meant to last. The song draws on these conflicting emotions in its upbeat progression. You can feel each moment of the track with time passing as the depth of the track makes every hour, minute, second increasingly
 more important. You only have one chance to make the most For The Weekend.

The song came together once Tropix discovered J Shaw and Mannis’ trending single, “High School” on Tik Tok, before reaching out to connect, & the trio quickly hit it off. J Shaw and producer/co-writer Mannis’s pop-rap/pop-rock style fused easily with Tropix’ Dance & EDM flair, and “For The Weekend” quickly pushed its way to the surface. J Shaw’s crisp vocals shine on top of upbeat drums, melodic guitars, & EDM keys creating all the makings of a modern hit.

Hey Everyone!
During these last few weeks, I felt that It was important to release something this month that preached positivity focusing on helping people who are struggling by releasing something that is joyful, cheerful and meant to put a smile on their face.
