His debut on International Deejay Gigolos led to the creation of Roulette Rekordz, bringing dynamic electro fusion to stages across Europe alongside renowned artists. After a hiatus, he resurfaced in 2019, relaunching his label and releasing music on platforms like Science Cult and Microm Records. Beyond Poladroïd, he's crafted albums as Cercle Futur and the Xenomorph Jazz Ensemble, contributing a consistent intensity to the diverse musical landscape. Enjoy it!

"Wessel Janssen, better known as The Spy, is a Dutch electronic music artist who has carved a distinctive niche in the underground music scene. Based in Amsterdam, Janssen’s journey into music began in his youth when it provided solace during challenging times. However, it wasn’t until 2015 that he began to explore music seriously, purchasing his first Roland MC-303 synthesizer and venturing into the world of functional techno. Janssen’s early works were marked by a deep appreciation for how music could unite people and offer an escape from life’s struggles. This connection to music has driven him to continually evolve his sound, and in recent years, he has adopted the moniker “The Spy”. Under this name, he has shifted towards a more experimental and evocative style, blending boot-stomping techno with cybernetic grooves, jittery IDM, and sinister electro. His music is the perfect soundtrack for dark, pounding basements where time seems to stand still, drawing listeners into a world of ominous electronics.
