Solid Steel (17th October) This week we're delighted to welcome Ben Page from RocketNumberNine to Solid Steel. Following the recent 'Blank Project' album with Neneh Cherry, alongside his brother Tom and produced by Four Tet, we get an exclusive mix of new solo material. In fact so new, the tracks don't even have titles yet! 
He had this to say about his mix;
"For the honour of doing a mix for the legendary Solid Steel I wanted to showcase brand new, unheard solo tracks and to lay them down in a loose, improvised style in keeping with the spirit of RocketNumberNine. As a 14 year old growing up in Chingford, I would listen, courtesy of a friend's older brother, to the sounds of Detroit and Chicago and I think those sounds can be heard in these tracks...along with a good dose of Chingford Tribalism...!!
The setup is the same as for RocketNumberNine, with the addition of  an MPC for sequencing the Nord Wave and V Synth."

The Black Light Disco Show splashes down in the ocean that is the myhouseradio.fm airwaves with another two hour double bubble hit to the sound nodes with a sneaky twist of the nipples thrown in for good measure. 
 
This week, our dusty and trusty BLD residents ‘Esteban The Terrible’ & Cole ‘The Hatchet’ Kutz will be priming the power couplings and tweaking the inertial dampeners here in BLD Towers ready for showtime. The boys will be using the ‘Serenity Dreamscape Lounge’ on the 83rd floor for the first time this year – all ready to blast out the beats, loops and basslines.
 
Esteban takes the wheel for the first hour with a clutch of goodies from the likes of Oliver Dollar, Save The Robots, Twism & B3RAO, Risk Assessment and Deni Maker to name but a few. 
 
For the second hour, Cole Kutz will be your guide as we Fandango through sonic delights from DJ Sneak, The Magic Track, Vagabundo Club Social and Groove Cutters plus many more.

Hailing from Koszalin in Poland, Das Komplex is undoubtedly an artist of many talents - a full time Architect by trade, he has released material on Father And Son Records and Tapes label and also offered up the extolled and coveted 6th pressing on the STEP imprint back in August 2015 - a record that sold out rapidly after hitting the shelves.

Not much else is known about the mysterious man, except that this past June he returned to Catz n' Dogz vinyl only STEP platform with 8 disco inspired cuts and his first foray into long player territory with "All For Love". With that LP available now, we recruited Das Komplex to provide our latest exclusive mix. Chock full of originals this is an hour+ of fine grooves for your mid week blues.
