The releases on Curle roughly go anywhere between deep house and solid techno, but Hiver’s deep techno sound is probably what I appreciate most myself if I had to choose. Melodic, floating and based on traditions but without sounding like something you already heard too often, that’s about how I would describe the Italian duo’s second Curle EP. Their first one got played by Sven Väth and Efdemin just to name a few. Hiver hold a residency at Milan’s Dude Club, but in the meantime have played everywhere from Dimensions festival to Panorama Bar.

Trouble In Paradise Records presents four raw minimal dance tracks from H. Bergqvist.

From the deep of Stockholm northwest suburb Johannesfred TROUBLE 002 explores some of Bergqvist's rawest material to date, stumbling between ramshackle party vibrations, below-sea-level emissions and intergalactic noise, this release is a dedication to his hometown; Stockholm.

Brendon Moeller has long been a purveyor of authentic dub-infused Techno since stepping onto the scene via his 2006 ‘Sweetspot / Humpback’ EP via Echocord and has since gone on to release on reputable imprints such as Third Ear, Kimochi Sound, Delsin’s Ann Aimee, Mule Musiq and of course his very own Steadfast. Here though Moeller makes a welcome return to where it all began with some fresh material for Echocord’s Colour sub-label.
‘Caravan’ takes the lead on the release and in typical Brendon Moeller fashion we’re treated to densely layered dub chords, throbbing subs and expansive atmospherics whilst robust drums drive the composition along. ‘Magic City’ follows and ups the energy levels even further with pounding industrial drums layered underneath billowing dub stabs and eerie drones.
‘Magic City In Dub’ follows and as the name suggests offers up a reduced take on the composition, dropping the tempo and shining light on the billowing echoes of the original whilst stirring in some off-kilter rhythsm and additional processing for good measure. Lastly, ‘Departure’ closes the package, with haunting synth drones, bumpy rhythms and murky vocals wandering throughout the seven-minute composition.

Echocord sub-label Echo Echo continues this July with Orbite’s ‘Interstellar’ EP, a three- tracker from the Berlin-based producer.
Orbite is a brand new project founded in Berlin, Germany with a nod towards the raw, dubby sounds often heard across the clubs in the city, and where better to inaugurate things than the recently launched sub-label of Copenhagen’s Echocord, one of the leading imprints in the realms of Dub Techno, home to pioneering acts like Rod Modell/Deepchord, Pole and Fluxion who have paved the way for Orbite’s own twist on the genre.
The ethereal pad textures of ‘Skylar’ lead on the package, deftly evolving alongside bubbling synth tones, swelling chords and shuffled percussion to create a create dynamically unfolding six and a half minute cut. ‘Moment’ follows, edging things further into dubbed-out territories with heavily delayed dub echoes and mesmeric spoken word poetry intertwining to create a, hypnotic beatless soundscape.
‘Organi’ closes the record with emotive, billowing pads, warm bell like tones and vocal murmurs running alongside swinging shakers and stripped-back micro-house percussion.

The rippling water was deep and dreamy as he watched from atop the cliff in the heat of the afternoon. Him and his fellow divers had gathered to watch the waves from up above before jumping into the depths of the murky blue unknown later that evening. The tide was too fierce at present and the roaring ocean crashed against the rocky abstract - soon it would be quiet and still. The heat was baking out upon the peak and in the distance they watched the ships come and go. 

Echovolot Records are not one to be placed in brackets - each release is as different and magical as ever but this latest EP from Priori has found a warm place in our hearts.

10010 Records continues the journey with Ksky.

The second release includes the collection of dreamy Deep House, vulnerable accords, deep soundscapes & old school 808 rhythms.

"Сhoice", "Rain Girl" и "Cry Hush" is music from lovers for the lovers. Triple dose of emotional roller coaster is guaranteed.

The title track "Dream Factory" is an Italo House dancefloor burner cut with nostalgic synth lines and solid rhythm. Absolutely classic sound from Ksky.

And the final track "Dawn 2 Dust" has a very emotional vibe with broken rhythm, moody acid bass line and classy piano melody. The recipe for the happiness.

HSM PREMIERE | Ksky - Rain Girl [10010 Records]

In autumn 2019 Stefan Lessner aka Less fulfilled his dream to release his own ambient album. With "Stranger" he created an imaginary soundtrack, influenced by film and music of the classic movie "Blade Runner", as well as the nights and observations of his new home town Berlin. With proudness, one can say that this opus is a real highlight of music for horizontal life situations, which can easily take a place in the Vaporwave corner.
Now the first 4 remixes are available, which carry the vibe of the album into the club. From the horizontal position and the head it moves on to the vertical and legs. For this, master Less was able to win over four equally skilled electronic sound processing experts, if all of their names would have been on a flyer, it would be for a must-go event to one of the hippest clubs: Perm, Portable, Freund der Familie and The Exaltics. Together they all form a package that can be used several times in one night.

The remix of „Zum Greifen Fern“ is made by The Exaltics. Far away from any compromises it stops directly at the Electro station, in its classic form. Especially the dreamlike transformation of the original is a perfect fusion of melody and rhythm: you can easly get the feeling that the voice of Human Leagues Phil Oakey is coming soon, but no, it's not needed. The tones carry the track all by themselves, perfect to bring a clubset to the end.

Stefan outed himself to Alan Abrahams, aka Portable, personally as a fan. Portable likes to give back when it comes to emotions. He made the remix of „Blütenstaub“ and it immediately catches your attention. It gets intimate, sticks to your mind like honey and you end up closing your eyes in the middle of the dancefloor. In a better world, his productions would be on the radio.

Freund der Familie are the hidden masters when it comes to connecting spheres between Dubtechno and Ambient. The remix of "Run On My Knife" actually contains two tracks in one. First of all it goes up into the air like a plane, passing clouds in the bright blue sky. Then comes the jump - free fall & „BAM“ just in time the paraglider opens up and the air smoothly carries you like a loved one to the ground.

Perm from Leipzig took "In my dreams" and created an effective weapon for the techno dancefloor for all fans of higher BPM rates. It stays deep in the dark basement, but leaves the cellar door open - letting fresh air inside.
„Close the door“, shouts mom from above. But it needs to stay open, to bring the draught to Perm´s Windy Dub!
