Discovering implicit patterns that hold in place the legacy of trauma and relational stress cannot be accomplished through insight alone. These patterns are brought to light

interrupted, and empowering actions that have not been previously executed are explored. With the goal of integration, new connections are made on cognitive, emotional, and bodily levels, created by new experiences rather than insight.

Understanding relational patterns as they are reflected in movement and posture help to unveil meaning of previously unconscious limiting beliefs formed in relationship. Resolving these issues often involves expressing strong emotion

In addressing the effects of trauma, the first task is to develop resources to regulate dysregulated arousal, then complete actions related to truncated defensive responses, and re-calibrate the nervous system so that arousal can remain in a window 

Life sometimes seems to be going perfectly to plan. Yet not infrequently, we subconsciously ruin a happy relationship or an ideal employment opportunity!⁣⠀

traumas. The best way to be rid of this baggage is to return to these old threats and discharge the excess energy from our bodies.⁣⠀

The body is the key to the mind. You first have to calm the body’s response to trauma, shifting it from danger/alert to relaxed/controlled. Only then can you begin to recognize and process the mental and emotional aspects of the trauma
