Formed in Mendocino Co. amid the sans-music wasteland of covid-19 by Ronnie Lambert and Troy Connors they hit the ground running as the bars reopened with what The North Coast Journal called "...the heart and soul of American Music". Driving by
Ronnie Lamberts infamous self proclaimed "chicken picker" style developed by Lambert during a 10 year federal prison sentence for bank robery coupled with Connors distinctive voice what's been decribed by many as 'sencere' and 'the most authentic' and in what the legendary Russ Regan former head of Mo-Town described as "a great commercial voice... with a little guidance he'll be very successful" coupled  with an unconventional styled rhythm and 'outlaw swagger' make up the truly unique and hard hitting sound of Troy Connors Band.  the pair started the group as an acoustic duo and soon were weekly performing the world famous Peghouse on Highway 101.

Troy Connors Band is currently working on original material gearing up for their first tour in early 2023 provided as one musician put it "if they can keep themselves out of jail till then"
