General Comment:
*This is a weird one for sure.  Quite a contrast of Punk and Pop within itself.  I have yet to decide if that is a good thing haha *

What is it about?
** Sometimes it feels like everything and everybody is working against us.  But if try to consciously remember and try to live everyday like it could be your last, your life will be more fulfilling **

X - Trouble Spots
*** Drums Drums Drums!  I had trouble with this, and ran out of time so it is what it is at this point.  At least the idea is there, but drummers will laugh ***

✔ - What I like most about it
**** The musicality of the chorus.  I enjoy the guitar progression and mood of it.  ****

   My name is Troy John Dean, although you may know me as Troy Perlic, singer - songwriter - guitarist of the band KOMODO WAGON, or more recently ENDING EMPIRES.

Minar is an alternative rock project, with melodic vocals over slightly left of centre guitars &amp; noise.

Influences include: Helmet, Failure, Shihad, Glassjaw, Faith No More, Dredg, At The Drive In, Oceansize, Deftones, Cave In, Handsome, Shiner, Jawbox &amp; many, many more.

Currently consisting of 1 member, in the form of Stef Upton, who performs as Vocalist, Guitarist, Drummist, Bassist, &amp; Key-ist. 

Formerly based in London UK, now in Sydney Australia, &amp; with a wealth of experience playing in rock bands of varying styles, all tied together by their abilities to try something new in the realms of rock.

Minar is no different, &amp; instead of following fashion, creates its own sound &amp; style, using the best of alt-rock/post hardcore influences over the past 20 years or so.
