A respected German electronic music producer and live performer known for his forward thinking approach towards electronic music and has made some of the most coveted techno records of all time. DisX3 graced us with this fantastic 2 track EP which also includes exceptional remixes coming from two mistresses of modern techno - The Lady Machine & Denise Rabe. We see this standout release being in the record bag of every techno enthusiast out there.

Shattered pattern 1 has a pacey and loopy arrangement which continuously intensifies throughout the track. The groove gives it a constant and great movement. 

The Lady Machine remix is dominated by a bouncy bassline and is a perfect track for every occasion, should that be a club environment or a festival, should it be played as a layer or simply a stand alone track. Works both ways! 

Denise Rabe remix takes this release into a more subtle waters with a variety of deep, atmospheric, trippy but yet driving sounds with a fantastic breakey feel to it. 

Shattered pattern 2 gives us that raw feel beautifully blending the idea of past and present techno. Energetic big room track and is a serious musical weapon for the dance floor demolition.

After releasing five sold out various artists EP’s featuring 25 artists, positivesource is excited to present a new chapter for the label with a diverse and anthemic EP from Berlin based producer Regent.

No stranger to the label, Regent contributed to src005 last year with his smooth techno roller ‘Off Agenda’ alongside music from Neri J, Alpha Tracks, Vil & Cravo. His tracks have featured heavily in DJ sets by label founders Blue Hour and Philippa Pacho over the years, naturally the idea to present the first artist EP on positivesource with Regent comes as no surprise. The record starts on a hypnotic tip with ‘Occult’, grooving along with an infectious bass-line swung beats and blissed out atmospherics before stepping up the energy levels on ‘Khmera’, a relentless chord driven percussive anthem with nostalgic vocals rising to new heights. On the flip the title track ‘Aphid Riot’ is bold and vibrant leaning heavily into UK flavours using sliced up vocals, breakbeats and a classic ‘Reece’ bass-line. Completing the record is a ‘broken’ version of ‘Aphid Riot’ highlighting an ethereal tonal melody with a deeper and more introspective take on the original. It’s a new sound exploration from the producer, demonstrating his versatility and perhaps a rare moment in his discography.

Clergy has become synonymous with a balance of atmospheric and hard hitting brand of techno ever since 2014. The boss's own music has been key to that, with carefully curated releases from guests such as Dax J, Kwartz, Reflec and Cleric himself. Helping to make the label an underground favourite. ‘Clergy Visions 01’ sees Cleric invite an array on techno heavyweights to contribute to this compilation that’s mixed by the label boss himself.
Things open up with the bleak ambience and fizzing electric cables of Jokasti & Nek's 'Grained' then Sept's 'Artifical' lays down a tunnelling techno groove that immediately locks you in. The mysterious alias, Reizemann heads off to a cosmic realm with its deep space pads slowly building the momentum throughout the drums. The energy levels then stay high throughout tracks from Roman Poncet, Kwartz and Setaoc Mass, then leading onto the groove of Stef Mendesidis.
Testament to Cleric's skills as a DJ and sequencer is the fact this journey is constantly evolving while remaining coherent. A mid- section featuring the likes of Endlec, Sleeparchive and EAS keeps you on your toes with perfectly stripped back but hard dynamic drum programming and intense melody work. Remco Beekwilder & Stranger bring a more hard hitting and industrial style before Slam calm the fires once more allowing you to sink into a smooth, elongated roller. It's left to the dystopian darkness of Rebekah and atmospheric techno brilliance of Lerias to close out this most adventurous mix in real style.

Mixmag Adria premieres the title track of the Out Of Place's ninth release signed by one of Greece's most promising talents, Annē. She welcomes you in her distorted, yet fairytale world rounded with hefty vocal stabs and tripped out cosmic ranges delivered in a modern techno trademark.

Annē started her career back in 2012, this promising artist is somewhat of a new wave from Thessaloniki’s rich electronic music culture. Annē is an official artist of Non Aesthetics Agency & resident artist on the project SINS. Ranging from a blend of dark landscapes and powerful bass lines to pumping sounds, she already shared the decks with names like Alien Rain, Somewhen, Insolate, Keith Carnal, Axel Karakasis, JudaΣ and Mr.M. Most notably she made an appearance at Reworks Festival as well as FiftyFifty Lab Festival and was dubbed as the best disk Jockey in Greece for 2019 by Athens Voice Mag. 

In a minimalistic form, Fairy Dust is a vocal rush marked with a numerous chop spinning around a solid techno rhythmic and subtle percussive synth atmosphere. Panning does the trick here since the lyrics are driven back and forth through the sound system inviting you for some forbidden fruits.
