Originally from the football-famed town of Tuscaloosa AL (Rolltide!) and currently residing in the southern-rap hub of Atlanta GA, hip hop recording artist, TruBanz, has taken the road less traveled to arrive at his current success!

At the age of 15, Firmnandor "TruBanz" Harris began practicing and honing his verbal skills and flow, ultimately (and quite surprising) developing an affinity for New York Hip Hop music. But, as he continued to develop as an artist he was able to merge his "bama-roots" with his love for northern rap to create the foundation for his current sound and style.

However, this road to success was riddled with bumps, bruises and barriers...including the violence and heavy gang activity in his hometown. After losing several friends and family members, TruBanz knew he had to change his life - he went to the ARMY!

But music remained his true passion and after serving his country for four years; he reverted back to the streets with business savvy, discipline and a better understanding of the entertainment industry.

TruBanz 1st independently successful record 'Against the Wall' produced by one of the south's biggest producers, Drumma Boy, received a lot of national airplay and gained the attention of Universal Records. Though no deal came from it, he took it as a sign that he was on the right track and that he was on the right path to becoming the south's next big artist.

In 2014, Trubanz released 'NO REASON', produced by Florida-based producer 24K, a catchy head bobbin' record reflecting the current attitude of the new generation and the current mentality of the streets.

Inspired by his struggles with violent activity back home in Tuscaloosa coupled with the current state of our inner-cities around the country - TruBanz knew this was his time and that he could truly be the voice of the streets...with records like 'No Reason' leading his arsenal of hits the world gets a little insight for what Trubanz has in store!
