"Don't touch me" was my first demo that I made when I first learned to play guitar & write a song. I had basic recording equipment then. I recently added more vocals etc. It is a song about abuse.

 This song was one of the first songs I wrote when I was learning how to play guitar. It's about a girl who falls hard for this guy and can't let go.

In 1988 -1990 I was with my second husband who was a good writer/singer and lead guitar player. His name is Gerald Hugh Gardner. He wanted me to sing some of his songs. 
I loved to sing and I really liked to sing original songs, so I did.This song was played on Q91 radio and won 2nd place in a contest in Red Deer.
CKRY Country radio loved the song. The music director Phil Kailson wanted me to  re-record it in a 24 track studio since it was only done in a 16 track studio with a drum machine.
My sister and got a band together and sang it in a contest at the" Ranchmans" Bar & grill. in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We made it  6th place out of the top 20 best bands. We went up against bands that were playing for 10 years. It was GREAT to be a part of that country community at that time.

Hi everyone!!
 Welcome to my advanced Profile, where most is told. I started at a young age singing. I am only 17 and I guess I will stay that way.  lol I am still singing and recording no matter what happens, I am having a good time. Music has always been a BIG part of my life. It has made me happy,sad, has taught me many important lessons, but most of all, it has saved me. Many people have touched me by assisting me through the years. I just wanted to sing, so they helped me.
So many, that I can not count . I had the honour to be played on radio in 24 countries. How thankful I am to the " Cruzeros" who poured their heart into my songs. I was brought up by 2 beautiful singers, my mom and dad. My brother Derek and my sister Cindy are amazing singers. My son Phil and my son Eric got use to me playing in the basement with the bands that came and went. Philip, who is still beside me even though he is gone, always encouraged me to keep singing. Eric still smiles knowing that his mom has  always worked hard to be the best that she  could be. I am humbled to know that I have and still am loved by my precious boys no matter where they may be. I do not like to brag but it was awesome to have worked with many singer/songwriters in the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna, BC. I judged many singing contests in Alberta and BC. I have put together seminars and workshops for ones that wanted to learn more about the music business. To come in in 3rd place of all BC was a Karaoke fun time!! I was on on Q 91 Calgary in 1988. CKRY loved my singing but I was too shy to sing seriously at that time.
I was on radio not because I was the best singer, it was because my heart could stop me from singing. I have taught vocal lessons. I thought that it was very important to encourage young people like I was. Music has been so loving to me. I will die with music in my soul!!!
