True Adventures is the nom-de-plum of Norwich-based singer-songwriter Samuel Leonard Keith Leonard (real name, long story).

Recorded in Norwich with producer David Pye, True Adventures presents new single Better Tomorrow, Today. Ringing electric guitars and triumphant drums provide the backdrop for a series of imagined vignettes telling tales of realisations in the face of hopelessness.

“Songwriting is my way of trying to make sense of what’s around me. I often only realise what a song is about until I’ve sung it a thousand times, or someone asks me about it. The best thing is hearing from someone that your song got to them in some way, often with a different meaning than the one you imagined.”

Brasil is released on 6 July via Roundtable Records across all digital platforms.

The track was produced by David Pye (Wild Bears, Kate Tempest, Dingus Khan) and features backing vocals from fellow Norfolk singer-songwriter Milly Hirst, drums and percussion from Joe Allen and trumpet from Jeff Smith of Wooden Arms.
