True Identity members are Joanne Cotterell, Rowena Cotterell and Pamela Francis.
Their union spans their teenage years into adult life. Coming together they developed a harmonious blend that cuts through the air. “Ro and Jo” (commonly known) started in their love of music in the yard, being exposed to soul-head bigger sister and sound man bigger brother. Their influence spans from deep militant soul to studio one and old school gospel music from their mother.
They spent their evenings singing in their bedrooms playing their favourites as loud as possible. Just across the road was Pam. She grew up in a household of music heavily influenced by her Father who had a passion for the bass guitar and a very wide music collection. She was exposed to authentic reggae spanning decades. They have long been on this road and they present their first ever EP executively produced by them. Nothing happens before the time.....and if you want good yuh nose have to run!

After being called back on stage to do an encore at the P&P 'Up Close & Personal' event on Saturday 24th November 2012 in Belgrave, London, True Identity sent the crowd into a frenzy with their awesome lovers rock medley which included the classic hits 'Natural High', 'Silhouette', 'Truly', and 'Dancing Mood'.  This was another outstanding performance from the ladies which again culminated with rapturous applause.  Other Artists that performed on the night were Peter Hunnigale, Rick Clarke, Don E, and Matic Horns. Music was provided by Calvin Francis (Choice FM) and Daddy Noddy (Vibes FM).

Medley

A female vocal trio started in the realms of the Lovers Rock era, although established their love for singing during their active involvement in the church gospel choir. They grew up listening to The Emotions, The Jacksons, Andre Crouch, Al Green, Dennis Brown and of course plenty of Studio One. 

They pride themselves on vocal harmony creation, adding special effects that enhance material they may be presented with. They have been in demand to support leading Jamaican reggae acts on tour in the UK. The girls have not restricted themselves to one genre and were also involved with a Rock/Indie outfit alongside performing RnB, Jazz. They have supported the likes of Roachford and Rosetta Hightower(Philly's 60's group The Orlons). 

Still performing on the circuit the trio still sing in Church when asked and are consistently showcasing their love for music on the circuit . The girls are currently recording their long awaited album
