Praah -productor y lutier franco colombiano- en colaboración con Festival Nómade más ocho artistas europeos y latinoamericanos, han dado forma a “Chamada”, un EP de remixes del single del mismo nombre. Esta canción fue producida por Praah con la intención de unir varios continentes, integrando idiófonos (Sanza) por la parte africana, aerófonos japoneses (Hotchiku) y flautas y ocarinas por la parte de americana precolombina. 

“Chamada Remixes” avanza desde un sonido orgánico y suave, muy profundo, adquiriendo tintes electrónicos pulidos y progresivos. Evoluciona de manera natural, logrando generar nuevas texturas, gracias a las versiones de productores amigos con búsquedas sonoras complementarias. 

Así comienza a tomar forma concreta una familia musical fundada en el intercambio, el rescate y el downtempo. Chamada Remixes es la primera producción de una serie de trabajos colectivos que ya están empezando a gestarse y serán liberados de manera gratuita.

Agua de Flores, a co-creation with Mose, is the only song I have not created, it is a personal adaptation of a ceremony song called Agua de Flores that I sang while living in Mexico between the sea and the deep water of a cenote. The vocals were recorded together with Mose in Berlin and was produced by him with elements given to him by Steffen.

CURRENT PROJECT: SHIPIBO - The Journey -
An electronic shamanic music and visual journey for the dancefloor, combining the recordings of 10 Shamans from Peru, which are mixed with electronic music set to beautiful visuals to accompany the journey.

WHY
Besides creating a fantastic entertaining dancefloor and visual experience, the goal of this project is to raise awareness about shamanism and spark curiosity for their culture and contribute to the preservation of it.
The proceeds will be donated to several foundations in Peru for the preservation of shamanic culture, the re-planting of healing plants in the region of Ukayali in Peru, for the benefit of the Shamans and all Shipibo people
