Centred round a held cord that rises to hold tension, a sparely used textured vocal washes over the mix and creates the impression of a large open space. Washed in stereo delay the hi-hats and melody part bounce from the left and fill the mix, whilst the ridged kick drum pounds to hold the groove of this epic monster.

American Jackin' House influences, rhythms that captivates the mind and the most contemporary Techno coexist in harmony in this new EP by Chus & Ceballos and Oscar L.
Stereo Productions is an independent House label and a pioneer brand founded at the end of the nineties in Madrid, whose influence has been notorious in the Music Industry in the last 15 years that is known for its quality and its characteristic and recognizable style known as the Iberican Sound. 
Chus & Ceballos, Iberican Sound founders and ambassadors, specialists in fusing sounds and rhythmic bases full of percussion and organic elements introduce us to their new studio project with the DJ and producer, also from Madrid, Óscar L, an outstanding figure from the national scene thanks to his excellent projects full of energy, groove and fresh rhythms. The result of this union is “Flow”, a frenetic EP with 3 original tracks; “The Flow” with American Jackin' House influences, a contagious rhythm and effective drops, specially aimed at the dance floor; “Funkarrone” with a more mental and Tech essence and changes of rhythm that captivate from the first instant; and lastly, “Da Da Dam”, the EP's most Techno track, perfectly framed in a more current line with a noticeable old school bass drum and vocals in the shape of sparkles that shine in the darkness.

EP, remixed by Amelie Lens and their recent EP on Second State with a huge new offering - Unconventional

Spaces. Reform present three fresh originals, backed by a massive rework from Etruria boss Luca Agnelli.

Unconventional Spaces is a melodic and timeless work, perfect for a magic sunrise closing set. Luca delivers a

heavier rework, creating a special atmosphere with powerful chords that drift back and forth.

Just This is characterised by a raw triple stab, a vocal laid down by the guys themselves and an emotional and

mysterious break. Closing the EP is Span, which is composed of bouncing tom samples, straight hats and a

moogy bass that develops throughout the arrangement, a perfect peaktime number and strong finalé.

Got a good one here for you all today! One of my absolute favorite producers over the last 4 or 5 years has been Klanguenstler. His range and style are ever changing but one thing remains constant and that is his productions are always top notch. When I heard that he had teamed up with the legendary Alan Fitzpatrick and his label We Are The Brave, my musical spidey sense got all tingly. If you have been following our Track of the Day selections over the last couple of years then you will know how much we appreciate this incredible label. It is a privilege to be able to share this new track “Karma Chords” with you all today courtesy of We Are The Brave and Klangkuenstler.

One of three new originals on the EP, Karma Chords is one of those tracks that makes me feel like I got transported back to the late 90’s warehouses in the Bay Area growing up. A rolling percussive groove gets things going, giving the song that locomotive feel, like it’s constantly driving forward harder and harder until it gets to that top speed. Joining into the fray is a few different ravey synth stabs that really get the track moving and give it a really classic jackin techno vibe. It may take a minute for the track to get moving but when it reaches full speed and the whole arrangement is working in harmony you better watch out cause there is no stopping this train. In December 2009, Gem Records was born when it released GEM001 ‘Egbert – Dezelfde Weg’. Nine years later, Egbert graces the label with its 60th release.  

Fractals EP is a double A-side with ‘Fractals’ representing Egbert’s pumping dancefloor techno and ‘Zachtaardig’ his signature melodic sound.
