Disrupta is a name that’s stormed across the Drum & Bass scene in the past year picking up new fans with each new project and effortlessly sliding into new sub-genres. In 2020 Kieran (Disrupta) released his Deep Thoughts EP on Liquid V, a four track release that saw him explore a deeper, more musical side, in 2021 we now welcome him onto V Recordings for the next step in his journey.

The Changes EP is a four track project that spans across a selection of sub-genres whilst all being glued by the ‘Disrupta’ sound. The title track features Manchester vocalist DRS, a musician who needs little introduction and has worked with artists such as Children Of Zeus, dBridge and Marcus Intalex to name a few. ‘Wireless’ is a track sure to be on rotation when clubs back open, ’Tequila’ with J Select sees him delve even deeper into his tech side, and the project goes in full circle with ’Play It Cool’ falling into the same liquid vein as the title track.

We’re looking forward to seeing where Disrupta goes next as his musical pallet continues to develop, if this EP is anything to go by the experimentation is far from done.

Kind of a hard shift from what we are used to with my music but I've been wanting to make something more atmospheric and less reliant on a sample for awhile now. The brief vocal sample is none other than Nina Simone, a personal favorite and a beautiful voice. She accents some crunchy and smooth filtered pads with a smooth first half, and an all amen second half. I hope you enjoy!

Gray - Bristol Jungle

True Tactix are a Jungle/drum and bass Duo made of S-Kay and High Hertz. 

Its safe to say these guys are no newbies when it comes to Production, Djing and Drum n Bass. Both S-Kay and High Hertz have been in love with jungle and drum n bass music since young, and their passion for music has only grown stronger over the years, as they have developed their skills in production and Djing. 

True Tactix was first formed in 2015, when they decided to link up for a studio session and get a collaboration on the go. But it was quick to see that the sound that they produced together could be something special. 

From there on,they continued to work on their sound until they eventually landed their first releases around 2017. One of which was the well known and highly rated EP on Born On Road, The Callin. Fast forward 7 years and True Tactix have really made some noise in the scene with support from the likes of Charlie Tee on BBC radio 1, Dj Hype, Flava D, Serial Killaz and many more! With releases now out on major labels in the scene these guys are set for a big future in Drum And Bass.
