Preston Pillion, AKA prest.pill is a DJ/Producer and musician reigning from the suburbs of Atlanta. His musical adventure began at the young age of 9 when his grandfather got him his first guitar. After attending multiple underground bass shows at his home venue Aisle 5 he found a new love for groundbreaking sound design, the power of feeling bass in your chest, and living in the groove. Since his newfound love for electronic music he has devoted himself to adding his own flavor to the game. Drawing inspiration from all over the map, prest.pill is sure to entertain.

So with the 5AM Trio, we've been talking a lot about how to make more trap-style tunes to play in our sets. One day I was at the bouldering gym and a marimba melody popped into my head along with a break-beat style drum groove and thought "ooh that's hot", so I ran home and sketched-up the initial idea for "Heat". After jamming on it a bit with the Trio, as it often does, it turned from a simple, singular idea into a dynamic journey through trap, house, and breaks that will be really fun to explore in future live sets.
