Gizmo es el primer lanzamiento del DJ y productor argentino con base en Londres. El EP de tres tracks está claramente orientado para la pista de baile. Ritmos tribales y vocales hipnóticos combinados con melodías celestiales nos invitan desde un comienzo a adentrarnos en un viaje tanto melódico como psicodélico.

Gizmo is the first EP from London based argentinean DJ and producer. The 3-track EP is clearly dance-floor oriented. As soon as you immerse yourself in the first track you will immediately feel the influence of nature on Blixa’s sound palette and his passion for generating dense and vibrant atmospheres. Tribal percussions and ritual-like vocals blended with celestial melodies will invite you to get on a trip that is as melodic as psychedelic.

Quelques mois après avoir convié huit producteur-rice-s francophones de haut-vol pour un long format, La Forge s’écarte momentanément de la formule ‘Crysta Ampullaris’ pour une proposition plus radieuse et solaire. Dans ‘Crysta Ensolaris’ s’exprime l’optimisme du retour à la fête tant attendu après plus d’un an de privation, comme un besoin manifeste de se retrouver et de communier pendant ces doux moments de rêverie, diurnes comme nocturnes, qui nous manquent tant.
Retour au format EP pour notre noyau dur composé des producteurs Nigm, Slowglide, Lebird, Shonen Bat et Ayuji, qui nous gratifie de cinq tracks à très haut potentiel U.V. Introduction tout en douceur avec ‘Ephemeral’ de @nigm-lau, pépite downtempo introspective aux allures de voyage mystique en plein zénith, parsemé de mirages et autres illusions soniques. @Slowglide fait monter l’acide à grands renforts de breakbeats dans l’incantatoire ‘Solstice’, morceau psychédélique aux relents big beat parfaitement calibré pour ambiancer une teuf néopaïenne.
Soudain, l’éclipse. Banger electro de haute voltige, ‘Adonia’ de @lebirdmusic nous emmène au fond d’une nuit caniculaire dans laquelle les chairs ondulent et se choquent, le souffle coupé par les impacts de kicks. L’enfant terrible @shonen-bat nous propulse ensuite dans une gigantesque rave solarpunk en gravité zéro avec ‘Planet Serotonia’, morceau extraterrestre hybride entre house breakée et UK hardcore protéiné. Enfin, @ayujimusic conclut l’épopée avec ‘Heliopolis’, petit joyau de house solaire et véloce mélangeant techno de Détroit et sonorités trance, dernier rush de dopamine au lever du soleil avant que la fête se termine.

After having invited, a few months ago, eight of the best producers France currently has to offer, La Forge now temporarily steps away from the ‘Crysta Ampullaris’ series for a more radiant and solar output. ‘Crysta Ensolaris’ is fueled by the optimism inspired by the perspective of soon getting back on the dancefloor, after more than a year of privation : this sheer need to reunite and come together, be it day or night, during these sweet moments of daydream that we’ve all been missing so much.
Back to an EP formula, our core main producers (Nigm, Slowglide, Lebird, Shonen Bat & Ayuji) gratify us with five tracks full of U.V. vibes. Soothing introduction ‘Ephemeral’, by Nigm, is an introspective downtempo nugget, not unlike a mystical journey under a zenith sun, with its load of sonic mirages and illusion. Then Slowglide turns the acid up, layering breakbeats into the incantatory ‘Solstice’, a big-beat-infused psychedelic track perfectly designed to launch a neo-pagan rave.
Suddenly, here comes the eclipse. Lebird’s ‘Adonia’, a high-energy electro banger, takes us to one of those sweltering nights when bodies undulate and collide, breathless as the kick drum hits. Then, wild kid Shonen Bat propels us towards a gigantic solarpunk rave in zero gravity with ‘Planet Serotonia’, a hybrid, alien-sounding track somewhere between breakbeat house & high-protein UK hardcore. Finally, Ayuji puts a finishing touch to this fantastic trip with ‘Heliopolis’, a swift, solar house gem mingling Detroit techno influences with some trance elements. Like an ultimate rush of dopamine at sunrise, just before the party draws to a close.

it's been a while since we decided to open and launch this new project, we were just waiting for the right moment, and maybe we waited too long. or maybe not. we were a little stucked by the indecision of when to put it out, how to contextualize, and all the usual "psychological" practices that one faces before starting a new journey. but ever since we received the masters of this wonderful concentrate of different minds, we have been looking forward to smashing it out. and whether it's the real right time or not, it's now finally here! the true meaning behind this capsule is not so definable in words, perhaps because it is an attempt to look back and forth at the same time, without getting lost in a one concrete definition. but when we got to the tracks, first individually, and then together, it came spontaneous to glimpse something new and unconventional as a whole. we are therefore proud to present another of our musical journeys, this time in certainly more experimental and odd territories. the sounds you hear can definitely be taken as the true manifesto of this new chapter. proto? post? everything in between. Trule drops its 9th release and the second in its 10” white label series with a collaboration between label boss Al Wootton and Montreal’s Priori.
Al Wootton heads up the A-side with JL, a deep, dubby and minimal house/techno number.
Priori reworks it into a ‘Sharp Tool Mix’ for the B-side, a rolling, drum heavy techno workout primed for dancefloors.
Priori co-runs the labels Naff and Garmo with Ex-Terrestrial and is one half of the Jump Source project with Patrick Holland.

UK producer BufoBufo (Ritual Poison / Batrachian Records) brings his amphibious sound to the growing Scottish Highland based label. The ‘Potholing’ EP takes its name from the definition of ‘underground cave exploration’, with three original tracks that pull you further into the deep, dark sounds of underground rave.

‘Cave Network’ sets the tone for the EP, immersed in acid-like textures, deep sweeping pads and interchanging breaks rhythms. Second in is ’Giant Antlion’ with cosmic style analog arp’s that lift towards a hefty breaks / bass combo, then ‘Blue Demoiselle’ takes you back to the surface with a rolling breaks number smothered in dreamlike pads and uplifting melodics. London based producer - and Ritual Poison co-runner - Corporeal Face ties the EP up with a phenomenal twist on ‘Cave Network’.
