This one came easily - the journey of people close by... and of taking deliberate steps to things of faith, hope and love... so many twists and turns in this thing called life.

Good Feelings is Track 9 from my Project 52 - Songs on a Sunday - 52 songs in 52 weeks. 

My favourite to record so far - lyrics came real quick - I like this format of writing and delivery; it's easy to think and write in short phrases, and unlinked statements still work if ideas are not workable over multiple lines.

What's it about? You can choose - there's so much depth for me but it's also, in part, just a surface level country pop tune. Taylor could sing it maybe. I'm open to offers ;-)

No guitars used this week. Loved it.

Little change of genre here into pop-disco. Loved writing it and fun to record.

Stay Strong is track 43 from my Five Two Project - 52 songs in 52 weeks written, recorded and released. 

This one uses a lyric that's been a live tune in a recently retired original project - Truly Made - we didn't ever record it so I've recycled the lyric here... it's about using the things around us to gain perspective to carry on.

Miles and Miles is track 44 from my Five Two Project - 52 songs in 52 weeks. 

This one is probably my favourite of recent months. Loved the writing process. The lyric "...don't need a sunshine destination..." says it all - that's it. The do-anything or do nothing of spending time with people. Time is the most you can give. Do it!

It's quirky and upbeat on the surface, but it's a feeler for me. Awesome to write, play and produce - fun, and got some demons exorcised... and a couple just exercised  :-) ... ooh, that could be another lyric!

What I Find is track 46 from my Five Two project -52 songs in 52 weeks written, recorded and released.

The rhetoric for this one came quickly... took a while to get the lyrics sorted, more than most of these tunes have taken, but feel like I got it to mostly work to be releasable. 

How good is heavy reverb and delay on violin? So good, that is how good!!

This one came from a darker space than some - perhaps 'upbeat-melancholy' is a useable phrase to describe the content.

Appropriate this one was released during the Olympics. A Marathon to get this one sorted - the toughest week yet.

Another fun one that I thought might suit a guitar solo - didn't really sit well so keys it is. Good old Doctor Who type synths. Love it!
