Es ist schwierig zur Tagesordnung überzugehen, bei all dem Wahnsinn und schrecklichen Ereignissen, die sich momentan in der Welt abspielen. Ein wenig Trost, Freude und Ablenkung finden wir dann doch, mit einem wunderschönen Mix von DJ Balaton. Gisela! Ein klassischer Shot der Wohl in keiner Bar und Club fehlen darf, was man über DJ Balaton übrigens auch sagen könnte. Lange haben wir uns auf diesen Mix gefreut. Both have been exploring their own paths within electronic music, but playing together has unlocked something unique. It’s amazing to see how blending two different worlds but still the same creates a sound that’s beyond either of us, something beautiful and unexpected. This project is a reminder that music isn’t meant to fit neatly into boxes—it’s about pushing boundaries, merging influences, and letting the energy flow. Excited to see where this journey takes us!

Über den Sounacast

Der Radical Wellness Sounacast erscheint wöchentlich immer Sonntags und begleitet die Crowdfunding-Kampagne zur Finanzierung des Ausbau unseres sweeten neuen Saunaspaces im Leipziger Westen. 

Wir sagen ciao teurer Eintritt, gefließtes Ambiente und mackerige Aufgusssprüche, welcome Wellness für alle, radikale Selbstfürsorge und respektvolles Miteinander. 

Mit eurer Hilfe erschaffen wir eine kleine Insel aus Holz, Licht & Liebe im Leipziger Westen, die im Herbst 2025 fertig sein wird. Wir arbeiten mit nachhaltigen Materialien und Konzepten und der Space ist mit Fahrrad und Öffis gut erreichbar.

At this last edition of Georgie's Wundergarten we had the pleasure of opening our favorite stage at Ruigoord, 'Het Wilgenportaal'. 

We were given 2.5 hours to travel through one of our favorite genres. Sharing a deep love for minimal techno, we've dug deep into our archives to bring you one of our favorite gems.

For its newest record, Public Release soars over the Atlantic and glides into Greece to convene with two brothers from Thessaloniki, Christos and Fotis Papadakis, for Cosmic Swimmer, a gentle, lilting sunbleached house escapade.

The 12-inch opens with their soft and cushy original mix of “Cosmic Swimmer”, a charmed layer cake of round, full-bodied hand drums, airy pads, and washed-out vocal harmonies. A breezy, wide-open endless groove that ambles along at a not-too-slow, not-too-fast Goldilocks pace that will easily keep you undulating on the floor or in your head. Another pair of brothers, the Soulwax boys, making a very rare, celebrated appearance here, take the reigns and fill out the arrangement by wrapping it all up in some stone-cathedral euphoric resonance and injecting it with their trademark finger-plucked bass struts. One of their top remixes ever? Perhaps.

The hot potato is then passed to New York City’s Kim Ann Foxman for her take, a more urgent and pressed affair that swaps the organic elements for jittery programmed percussion, strobed effects, and brittle synth licks, all the while somehow keeping the dusting of Balearic feel-good presence intact. Finally, Eric “Dr. Dunks” Duncan jumps into the frame with a tough love acid- flecked interpretation that thrusts the record into peak-hour rave territories.

For the digital edition, a bonus is offered, a peppy, saucy Hi-NRG piano number that has echoes of late-80s New Order. A carefree, cheeky encore that caps off the party with a bolt of electricity.

Mit dem zweiten Teil der Stay Cool @home Edition … nun auch mit neuem Cover … nehme ich euch mit nach Potsdam zu Rudi Stöher. Rudi der Buddy von Rony und sie bilden zusammen das Kraftfuttermischwerk – vor allem bekannt durch den Blog mit den witzigen Web-Fundstücken und natürlich durch den KFMW-Adventskalender. 

Aber Rudi ist auch ein alter Hase hintern den Turntables … legt er doch überwiegend noch ganz klassisch mit Vinyl auf z. B. bringt er jeden Monat einen neuen Vinylmix raus. Musikalisch ist Rudi extrem Wandlungsfähig … was ich sehr an seiner Musik schätze. Unter anderem ist er ein Liebhaber für dubtechnoides Zeugs und auch ruhigere Klänge … wovon auch ich ein großer Fan bin. Na hört selbst was Rudi hier für unser Zuhause-Sein gebastelt hat. Danke Rudi für diese tollen 1,5 Stunden … und hoffentlich sehen wir uns nächstes Jahr auf dem Meeresrausch Festival … die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt.
