Born and raised in Santander, @p-e-a-r-l first witnessed electronic music from late 90s - early 00s sounds which played a fundamental role in his productions/ As a teenager, the Spaniard immersed himself within club culture and was immediately drawn to the harsh beats of British techno. 

2006 marks the starting point of his now primary outlet: P.E.A.R.L. releasing his first tracks on @tsunamirecs.
In 2012 he moves to Berlin and one year after he founds his own imprint, @falling-ethics Records, first as an outlet for his own productions and lately opening the doors to other creators like Umwelt or Oscar Mulero.
2017 is going to be a pivotal year on his career, with the release of his first Album, Temptation through Impatience, to be released on his very own Falling Ethics imprint and his addition to @polegroup.
Recently in 2020-2021, he unleashed a string of hard-hitting tracks and EPs such as Tribal Science on Hector Oaks imprint OAKS or We Will Not All Fall, the first release of his new Falling Ethics sublabel Moral Standards: A subjective look at the current Techno scene with music from artists like Matrixxman, Sunil Sharpe, VCO or Nene H. 

As a performer he is an excellent selector in the DJ booth, combining the pulse of pounding grooves in a very eclectic way, always making his sets an unexpected journey.

Inspiration struck again, so no waiting one month this time :P
Listening to  @adambeyer  's set at Kappa Future Festival, the 1st track he played reminded me a lot of  @Meduzamusic 's "Upside Down" tune, a bit punchier though. Referring to  @artbatmusic 's new BANGER "Galaxy". What a powerful track !!!
So initially my thought was to make an "angrier" version of Upside Down, but then whil doing it, I somehow thought that it might be a better fit for  @edsheeran 's "Bad Habits".
And so this reboot was born.

Exos is one of the most experienced and respected artists within the circuit of techno and dub techno in Iceland. Active since 1997, Exos has released three albums and more than twenty singles, along with collaboration with the likes of Steve O'Sullivan, Ben Sims, Mark Broom and Dj Rush and Nina Kraviz. In 2017 Exos is opening his own label called "Invisible Limits" (IVl) releasing music from friends, favorites and himself. He gives us a mix here of his favourite tracks from the last 12 months, this is his first podcast in 3 years!

Beginning a creative journey in her formative years with classical music and dance training, Sophia Saze would later became engulfed by electronic dance music. Tbilisi, Georgia born and internationally bred, Saze found in Brooklyn the perfect home to dive deeper into these sounds by launching her party (and more recently record label) Dusk & Haze. As a producer, her musical versatility draws from a variety of genre influences, ranging from electro to krautrock, ambient to industrial, and acid to garage - showing her complete range and fluidity as a musician. As a DJ, Sophia shapes the journey on the border of house and techno, including electro and more spaced-out broken beat moments, keeping dancefloors intact, always heading forward.

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.
