Luca Tresque debuts on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that has raw sounds and hypnotic grooves.

Hailing from Austria, Luca Tresque is the co-owner of Splatter imprint and has released on Florian Meindl's FLASH, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and Alex Bau's Credo. Known for his exceptional DJ skills being a resident at Kantine Club, he has also played at the respected KHIDI, Werk, and Grelle Forelle venues.

Unrilis is a record label Co-Founded by the late Rino Cerrone, and Luca Tresque is the latest artist to join the imprints roster.

"Dunes Everywhere" has a murky lead synth combining with fizzing hi-hats and a ground shaking low-end.

Following 11 hotly tipped EPs, Format now delivers its first compilation release, packed to the brim with bomb cuts from both veterans as new faces.
This first Format compilation is a prime example of the label’s signature sound. Featuring an impressive variety of musical perspectives, it’s a mint snapshot of Format’s ever adventurous view on techno.

Format lays down an impressive array of minimal-tinged and powerful dance floor techno laced with depth and atmosphere. There’s quite a lot to enjoy here to say the least; a very special appearance is made by legendary NY-producer Mike Parker, whose off-beat ‘Necklace Dancer’ perfectly reflects Format’s penchant for abstract techno. It nestles well among chunky four-to-the-floor material from various trusted label associates: ROD delivers a raw house-flavored banger on ‘Acine’, while TWR72’s ‘EXP19’ explores techno’s darker territories. Label curator, Juan Sanchez, also steps up to the game with ‘Warthog’, a high-octane piece of fiery techno that captures the man’s highly anticipated sound. Topping off, new label signees such as Mark Groot and Optics deliver intense cuts that already make us look forward to more of their studio output. 
Format V.A. will be released on two separate vinyl releases, followed by a digital release featuring all nine tracks. The first 200 vinyl releases will be made available in transparent vinyl.
The release features artwork by DEFRAME, and is based on the refraction of light. It is meant to represent the illusion of a tiny hypnotic multiverse, where each plane exists in a different time and space.

"Since his first EP “Outbreak” signed on the Dutch label Wolfskuil Records, Qindek has been releasing amazingly immersive tracks. Strong from his last EP "Reach for the Cosmica", featuring a massive banger remix from Setaoc Mass, on the Belgian label Form and Function, Qindek releases his second EP of 2019 on the very aesthetic German label Dreiklang Records. 

"Come Closer" EP unifies four different creations based on the same material: an ingenious rousing line of percussions.

Qindek's original cut opens up the EP with a pacy and rhythmic percussive start, introducing directly the project’s common base. Gradually, a repetitive and heady sound rises behind. Aggressive, vivid counter-tempo hi hats add a layer of animated tension. Percussions and industrial sounds are like two forces actively trying to overcome each other, displaying a wonderful battle of influences in a tense atmosphere. It draws you in an unstoppable wheel you can’t resist dancing to, establishing an impressive club-killer.

VOLTMAR’s remix initiates an aura of assurance. It has a heavy and straight to the point bass line which affirms the sense of confidence already induced by the rhythm. It feels like going to war alongside a mighty and fierce tribe. The pressure intensifies as the bass line develops and rhythms become more intrusive. Once this weapon is thrown on the dancefloor, people shall unite in one dynamic force. 

Edit-Select remakes Come Closer with a simple kick surrounded by frenetic hats setting the scene before mysterious keys lead you slowly towards the unknown outer rim. Following the rhythm of counter tempo hats, you feel like you’re observing a part of the galaxy you are the first to discover, inducing a feeling of excitation but also foreboding of what’s to come. This cut will hold the dancefloor breathless, wondering about the next move.

Well known for his opaque techno sublimed by slight touches, Kuf concludes the EP with a fast-paced, striking version of Come Closer. The Swedish producer shows once again his skills by setting a potent sub, depicting a feeling of density. A clap makes the cut punchy while industrial sounds and flangered subtle notes give a speeding-vessel-like sensation. The whole energy coming out of it makes an irrefutable banger out of this cut, which will make the toughest party-goers dance with no rest.

Detroit based producer Uun returns to Soma following an impressive debut on the label earlier this year with more deep, dark seeded Techno in the Architects Of Fear EP. This ominous and brooding release is backed by a remix from fellow US producer Altstadt Echo who recently released his first, full length album on seminal Techno label, Semantica. 

The Vanity Trap opens the EP with a sense of urgency as bouncing rhythms steadily open up into pulsating, electric synths that seem to crawl through your skin whilst fast, effective percussion keep the pace. Between The Lines keeps the release pounding with a huge kicks and perfectly built hypnotic rhythms. Altstadt Echo steps up next with his remix of The Vanity Trap. His take offers a more broken beat and deeper affair as he puts the originals synths to work in a more drone orientated fashion. Machinations Of Descent closes the EP on a throughly hard hitting tone yet melancholic tone. An astute ambient producer as well, he merges his Techno & melodic elements beautifully on this track.

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.
