Jon Hussey is hailed as a pioneer of the Irish Techno scene, kick-starting the infamous Planet Dub night in ’94 at Columbia Mills / Waterfront, Dublin. Since then Jon has promoted and resided at many Techno clubs throughout Ireland as well as playing in many Techno havens across Europe including Amsterdam, Bratislava, Berlin, London, Leeds, Exeter, Turin and New York. 

In 1999 Jon was among the first group from Ireland to qualify for the Red Bull Music Academy held in Berlin where he showcased his Irish Techno skills. 

In 2001 he helped electronic music maestro and lecturer Kenneth Harte to setup and establish the first DJ techniques and electronic music production course in the ‘Bray Institute for Further Education’ BIFE which is still to this day the only full time course DJ & Music Technology courses in Ireland. 

A quote from the national Irish radio station 2FM in their Late-Night Sessions Blog stated “Jon Hussey is one of the longest serving true purveyors of Techno in Ireland, running nights in the early days of Dublin's dance scene, when techno to most people meant U96 or 2 Unlimited. Consistently one of the best DJs around, Jon never lets the side down” giving a rare insight into Jon's personality as a DJ! Jon Hussey is now playing Techno for 3 decades and is regarded as one of the longest if not the longest DJ solely playing Techno on the Irish scene. 

Jon Hussey has previously released with fellow Techno DJ Sunil Sharpe as part of a joint project under the moniker 'Tricaustic' with “the Caustophobic Pressure EP” on Komisch records, Jon has also released his productions on RLSD Records, Earwiggle, Ceili tracks, Circuit Structure Records and on the Netherlands based label R3volution Records for the Viktims Vol.1 EP alongside some excellent current producers like Linear System and Mattias Fridell. One of Jons most well received collaboration track Saol Fórsa a title he gave the posthumous work with dear friend Stuey Lyons (RIP) on Deliquent Delivery in ’22 was championed by many industry favourites including Ben Sims, Freddy K and Blasha & Alatt. Jons latest track ‘What if’ has just been released on a new Delinquent Delivery VA and he has also created recent remixes for Dublin band ‘Dumb Posh Hippies’ album track ‘Ego Ripper’ and also for Swiss based producer Maeksll for his ‘Staub 02’ album track have received excellent feedback from the Techno community. 

Further releases are planned for this year on Delinquent Delivery records and new Dublin based record label SCART

Galaxian has made a crucial contribution to modern electronic music in the 21st century, de- constructing & turning it on it's head while making bold strides into unexplored territories. Often recognised as a pioneer & innovator, his inventiveness is only surpassed by his ability to mine consistently new seams of sound, rhythms and intricate arrangements. 

More than a decade of authoritative releases on world-class labels & counting Aphex Twin, Mary Anne Hobbs, Helena Hauff & DJ Stingray among admirers, the latter being sometime collaborators. Notable live & DJ sets played worldwide at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, Resident Advisor and key releases on Tresor, BPitch, Ilian Tape, Return to Disorder, Micron Audio and many others & featured in a number of BBC Essential Mixes, BBC Radio 1 + BBC Radio 6 Mary Anne Hobbs. 

Beginning his journey behind the decks long before stepping into production, DJ sets display a reflect a deep well of knowledge and experience. Stylistically mixing style is rooted in a classic old-school approach, completely contemporary in track choices, techniques and performance. Sets are tightly woven, dynamic, incendiary, evocative. 

With recent releases on BPitch and Herrensauna, Galaxian - along with his alter ego Naix - continues to reaffirm his reputation for crafting unconventional yet essential electronic music that resonates in the 21st century and beyond. 

With such an intense output of 5 albums in 3 years it was time to take a long earned rest and consider new sonic avenues, developing new ideas and adopting different sound palettes and production techniques. During this extended period there has been a lot of evolution and shift for the Galaxian and Naix sounds resulting in dozens of new tracks and a few albums worth of material. 

In 2025 Galaxian turned his attention to the sample library world, launching a new platform called Wavkore in late March 2025. Designed to give producers fresh creative possibilities, it offers access to his signature sounds, a curated artist series, and plenty more developments on the horizon.

Ian, a Spanish-born London-based DJ, commenced his career in 1999, initially influenced by the techno rhythms of Berlin.
 
In 2006, he established Emphatic Records, which has since released artists such as Ben Sims, DJ Preach, Cristian Varela, d. Func, Jonas Kopp, Arnaud Le Texier, and numerous others.
 
Ian’s music has been released on labels including Sleaze Records, Children of Tomorrow, BEK Audio, TMM Records, and Black Codes Experiments.

Lindsey Herbert is a commanding figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across
the Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds, and her
ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances.
Since 2015, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los
Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident of
Robot Ears and now Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's
techno landscape, while also gracing the stages of prominent LA promoters such as
OBSERVE, Synthetik Minds, 6AM, Dirty Epic, RE/FORM, and more. Her influence extends
beyond borders with steady headlining gigs both domestically and internationally, while her
more recent relocation to Phoenix sees her actively nurturing the local techno community as a
resident of Techno Snobs. Most recently in 2025 she became Geheimclub Magdeburg’s first
international club resident.
In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the
beginning of a prolific  journey in the studio. Her releases have proliferated, with recent drops
on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, Conundrum, Blank Code, 4-Trk, Northern
Parallels, E-HRZN, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American
imprints such as Clergy, SYXT, Noise Manifesto, RAW., Planet X, NECHTO, NYXII, Bipolar
Disorder, Suara and many others. The future holds even more promise with countless
forthcoming releases on the horizon.
However, Lindsey's trajectory extends far beyond her production career. Notably, she graced
the stages of Movement Festival in Detroit and the iconic Tresor in Berlin last year, solidifying
her presence on the global stage. Additionally, she was personally invited by techno luminary
Richie Hawtin to tour throughout North America as part of his From Our Minds concept, further
cementing her status in the industry.
In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic,
groovy, and dance floor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time
and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners
in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove.
Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a
burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. The label has
been actively hosting showcases, providing a platform for the next generation of techno talent
to shine.
With her dynamic sound, magnetic stage presence, and relentless dedication to pushing
boundaries, Lindsey Herbert stands as a formidable force in the technosphere, leaving an
indelible mark wherever she goes.

With over two decades behind the decks, Shlomi Aber is a key figure in underground electronic music. Known for his fast, three-deck mixing and distinctive sound, he has shaped modern techno with releases on respected labels like Klockworks, Blueprint, CLR, R&S, Figure, Cocoon, Ovum, and Drumcode, alongside his long-running imprint Be As One, a benchmark for quality techno worldwide.

Now based in Barcelona, his work has earned recognition across the industry, including DJ Mag’s Best Newcomer (2005), Producer and Track of the Year (2007), Beatport Artist of the Year (2008), and Best Techno DJ at the Sankeys Ibiza DJ Awards (2014 & 2015). 

In this set, Aber mixes 23 tracks across three decks and a loop machine over a little more than an hour. The journey moves from deep, raw techno to a more energetic pace that reflects his current focus, blending moods and textures he has been drawn to lately.

BCCO Mix Series 693: Shlomi Aber

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.
