Context:
An alternative version of the central theme from the AEQUUS saga, this piece revisits the origins of the universe of Fulgor — a time when magic first awakened, more than seventeen centuries ago, bringing uncertainty and fear to the hearts of all races.

Chaos rose like a shadow, and a great inquisition swept across the world, staining the earth with blood. Extinction came close to consuming every trace of magic… until, two centuries later, a sign emerged: magic was not dead — and someone was born to rediscover it.

Between fear and hope, the melody asks:
