Born in the back of a Subaru Outback trunk, Trunkside Court began its life in March of 2020 as the respite from the COVID-19 lockdown. Two neighbors (Greg and Andrew), two guitars, two lawn chairs, and a vocalist (Lauren) helped the band escape the difficulties of being locked inside the house all day. As the days slowly crawled by, a gem began to reveal itself and Trunkside Court was developing into more than just an escape, it was becoming its own entity that needed to be captured. And so a recording studio was built in the basement of Greg’s house and Trunkside Court began recording original music. As the Trunkside Court evolution continued two more musicians, Logan and Glenn, joined the band in the Trunk. Trunkside Court’s diverse influences from 90’s rock, extreme heavy metal, and show tunes have shaped the band’s sound to its current blend of rock and pop harmony.
