EOS Radio - Merve, December 2021

Melbourne based DJ and curator Merve lays down a dark n’ stormy club mix with heavy doses of 90s rave and propulsive rhythms. We recently had the pleasure of hearing her perform at the re-opening of Amsterdam-based club De School, which completely blew us away. Captivated and inspired by the whole experience, we sent her an invite the day after and were stoked to hear she was up to record a mix and have a chat for our series.

Transcend entertainment from Canada with Active Surplus

Active Surplus in the mix for this week's podcast. One of Toronto's most promising young duos, Evan Vincent (AKA Emissive) and Ian Syrett, delivered 60 minutes of energetic arrangements and chords. A dreamy mix of breaks, 4/4, lovely instrumentation and exciting sounds. 

As familiar releasers on Pacific Rhythm you can always hear the house impression with wavelet grooves and silken sounds. Earlier this year they released their self-tilted EP which is a love letter to the house music sound that first sprouted from the West coast. 

Enjoyable new music for this stay-at-home weekend. This one deserves maximum attention!

Chuffed to welcome the next guest to venture Down The (not very) famous Stairs - Balamii Radio  @balamii) monthly resident, Patrisha!(@saoirsepatrisha)

Patrisha first came to our attention via her consistently enjoyable shows on Balamii, both her own mixes and quality of guests - blissfully blending a mix of acid, breaks, house, techno, trance, garage; and anything and everything in between each month.

Patrisha has worked behind the scenes at Boiler Room, Worldwide FM and The Pickle Factory and, despite expertly crafted mixes and shows, has only been DJing since 2018. She is also a resident with the Fade to Zaire (https://soundcloud.com/fade-to-zaire) crew.

You could choose worse ways to spend yer time than checking out Patrisha's back catalogue of Balamii shows - so get on it. But first, enjoy this cracker of a DTS instalment.

As usual in good tradition now here at Trushmix. Cato Canari is back  with another new years mix! Deep, tech, trance, emotional, techno and the harder sounds, surprising like we always get from the Tokyo based Norwegian underground man. Always on point!
A more subtle and darker leaning party oriented mix. Somehow a reflection of this past weird and off year. But there is light in the tunnel! We keep it rolling and we keep it positive!

Again as last years reminder for this year to come as well.
Hope it will be a way better year for everybody. And as always let's keep peace and unity in mind, respect each other and let the good vibes take over for 2021! 100% and more!
