Just like last year’s, it’s a compilation filled to the rim with catchy blessings, making sure that you can withhold in the rest of the winter.

Noticeable amongst these blessings is the opener ‘Yellow Spaceship’ by danish guitar player Jacob Gurevitsch. Jacob’s latest album of the same name was released back in January. Another addition is the hyper-pop inspired ‘Dance the Night Away’ by Perfect Plush. A duo that’s been on Danish radios since they released their debut-single in September 2021. The beautiful ‘Guaral’ by Vinicio Adames is calming one’s nerves. Alongside is ‘Fly Salmon Fly’ by the classically trained pianist Troels Hammer and Copenema’s cover of Stan Getz ‘It’s Wonderful’.

The art-pop quintet consisting of legend Kenneth Bager, Troels Hammer and electronic duo DJ DIVO & OliO strikes with ‘Hold me Close’. RKDIA stops by with their single ‘Iris’ from their debut album ‘Into RKDIA’. Anton Eger’s unpredictable and truly inspiring, almost melodic drums and glitchy percussion, let ‘Iris’ arise into the unsudden, accompanied by Morten Schantz, foremost, bleepy arpeggiated chords and mellow vocals.
Conspicuous as well is ‘Journey to Mars’. This gentle-hybridization is one of the joys of Sun Creatures music; the clear presence of a playground jamming sound, informing a heartily retro approach.

Hess Is More, Kenneth Bager and the 99-year-old singer Iboja Wandall-Holm is also present, with their debut single ‘Jeg Er Blevet Gammel’ (I Have Gotten Old).

Full of crackles, pops, skips and a little bit of suspect mixing, this was recorded purely on the fly and is a snapshot of my mismatched catalogue of favourite tunes collected over the years and played in no particular order.

Covering pretty much every genre that isn't house and techno, I was on a roll!
