the track's unique & uplifiting energy naturally claimed its name - Orenda.

Orenda derives its origins from the Native American Iroquois culture and holds great significance in their belief system. In Iroquois mythology, Orenda refers to the power or force that exists within all living things. It is often associated with the concept of the Great Spirit, representing a supernatural entity possessing magical powers.

This set was an initiation - into a new space, a new era, a new commUnity. To grow together in new ways - an invitation to dance & pray, laugh & cry, feel all the feels together, lift our hearts and work It all out on the dancefloor, like we do.

There was ALOT of intention put into this set: The past 5 years on Earth have been for so many of us the MOST challenging and on top of that, all that this Bay Area Ecstatic Dance community has been navigating...

This set marks a new beginning in so many ways with prayers for resolution, healing, blessing and rebirth. It is deeply alchemical - I put my headphones on and danced to it in my backyard to fully test the (recorded) journey myself.

I feel blessed and grateful to be here, deeply seen and felt by this extraordinary community. Thank you for having me. May we grow in beautiful new ways together. Mahalo✨
