Hyper capitalism, state surveilance, shifting values, mental health disruptions and loss of trust leads us to a new synthetic ignorance in our society. John Parlsey composed his debut release on @lustpoderosa using his very own interpretation of a post minimal wave synth aesthetic. It came out as magical dark and gloomy four tracker which is packed with immersive rhytms, weird staccato voices, claustrophobic acid lines paired with hopeful melodies. Wanted to try an alternative take on last night's effort using a ping pong delay to widen the track out a bit, as it felt a bit flat. Just kind of doing this to work out what the next most important modules are really.. I really want a Pico Voice, but I think what I should actually be looking at first is replacing my A138 mixer with a Plagwitz2 and Knob Farm Hyrlo, to sort out my end chain stuff (4 channels with an aux send, and a 3 channel stereo mixer with one of those being used as a stereo return).
