"Every 4,044 years comet Calanhi enters the inner solar system, returning from its cold and silent voyage through the Oort cloud. As it approaches perihelion, billions on Earth gaze into the night sky, transfixed by the celestial spectacle of their lifetime. While solar winds tear at the comet’s surface, deep inside the glowing ball of ice, ancient machinery springs to life."

Over the past five years Daniel Lodig and Martin Sovinz aka /DL/MS/ (@dl-ms) have been continually commuting through the electro singularity, constructing their unique brand of fragile bass music from extradimensional sound salvage, and spreading their frequency patterns via the subspace channels of @frustratedfunk, @pomelorecords, @vigram and TRUST. 

‘Calanhi’ is the Viennese duo‘s debut album – 12 tracks that combine the eternally fresh aesthetics of Detroit-style electro with a relentless curiosity for rhythmic and harmonic experimentation. Seismic club thumpers like ’Invisible Bits’, ‘Mountains’, and ‘Trusted Funk’ alternate with moody ambient interludes, boldly constructed beat inventions, and blissfully melodic acid breaks. Two collaborations further switch up the flow: Nigerian artist @g-rizo (@hezekinapollutina, Deejay Gigolo) drops her cryptic rhymes on ‘Divide & Conquer’, and Spanish singer Xx Isis xX (@isiskuaygarond) provides vocals for ‘Accelerated Frequency’.

[TRUST42] ORLANDO VOORN - outerworld [out june 2023]

Minimum Syndicat (also known as MS or M-Syndicat) are two musicians from Paris who have been making electronic noise and live performances for decades. They are known for their very unique mix of acid, rave and industrial on the one hand and cinematic, psychedelic, sci-fi landscapes on the other.

S.C.H.O.R.L. is their first full length album. Like some kind of bleak space opera it tells its story of lonely subaquatic outposts, Soviet droids and mantis-priests gathering. The core is spaced out electro, but it also has elements of techno, doomcore, breakbeat and industrial, one could say. "At this point subgenres are less important than in the past, it's more like the alternative electronic scene against the industry turning techno into moronic money-driven entertainment.“, they say, and right they are. The album features two collaborations with French heavyweights Umwelt and Voiron, the artwork comes from the legendary Belgian artist Elzo Durt, who made some of our strongest artworks in the past and who is a fan of Minimum Syndicat himself. The 2x12“ is limited to 100 copies, handnumbered and comes with a silk-screen A2 poster with a version of the artwork.

MS will also be releasing a special series of digital releases called "Mutant Signal“ on their own label.

For our 10th release, we are very stoked to welcome Italian artist Chris Shape. 

Chris Shape is Cristian Camporesi, a producer, live performer and sound designer for over 25 years. He starts his career in some local new-wave electro bands, but his debut came in the early '90s, when the techno's wave broke in Riccione and the pyramid of Cocoricò (the biggest italian techno club) has spread it everywhere. He later on became a member of the emblematic electro duo « Franz & Shape ». 

Originally released through Unknown Pleasure Records, this dense electro-techno album features collaborations with our hometown's Blind Delon, as well as HIV+, IV Horsemen, Black Asteroids and Dave Inox. 

We’ve extended the album with two original tracks by Chris Shape, Orac and Scia, as well as remixes by Qual, Chainbreakers and OTHR.
