We’re already hitting February in elrow Music HQ and as starting point, here it is the first of two references to spread the love around in Valentine’s month. ERM097 is brought to us by Italian duo Supernova (aka Emiliano Nencioni & Giacomo Godi), a three tracker short take named ‘City Lights EP’. Opening the EP we have ‘Rock The Disco (Original Mix)’, a track high in energy, very playful and with that carnivalesque vibe we all love from elrow latest releases. Following, we find ‘What What (Original Mix)’, that starts just where ‘Rock The Disco’ left it, with a perfectly recognizable tech-house progression, less energetic but with a great vibe of its own, making it a great selection for moody times on the dancefloor, putting the highlight on the sirens by the final section of the track. But the real banger here is ‘Get Hot (Original Mix)’, a track with a truly unique vibe since the beginning till the end, thanks to those horn sounds, strong percussion and subtle and tender vocal line in the background, with great attention to small details. No doubt it will make any crowd go mad within seconds. With this magnificent ERM097 we’re just three releases away from a big landmark in elrow Music, that will reach its 100th release quite soon. It's always encouraging to see new talent breaking through due to pure determination and talent. Merseyside-based duo Truth Be Told are more than deserved of their popularity, which stems from both crowds and fellow musicians alike.

When their debut EP received key support from Richie Hawtin back in 2012, their sound was exposed to ears around the world, and things really started to change for them from a career perspective. They kept the momentum up by releasing on Hector Couto's Roush label and from there their music secured plays from Jamie Jones and Darius Syrossian.

After a string of releases, Truth Be Told developed their reputation even further by becoming an in-demand name, playing at numerous gigs up and down the country as well as shows internationally. Now you can find the lads involved with Sante's Avotre imprint gaining #15 in the Beatport charts, featured as Friday Fire from Danny Howard, plays from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and an official remix for Eddie Amador on his legendary track 'House Music'.
