@heltermusic returns to @truth-radio with another EP of skipping electro/house rhythms, shimmering pads and glistening minor-key melodies. More for headphones than dancefloors, Fold builds and dissipates in intensity over six tracks, each with a warm, analogue-based palate and a digital sheen. The beats have slowed to a mid-pace, giving space to a delicate patchwork of synths and rhythmic components that ebb and flow throughout, not unlike Floating Points or Patricia. Fans of Helter’s earlier underground house releases won’t be disappointed, but Fold offers much more texture and depth.

Coming in hot after a recent release on our label with orbital drum system ('Amnesia By The Sea'), our latest invite to the mix series is Leuven, Belgium's @kleine-frigo. A super underrated artist in the underground house scene, Kleinefrigo treats us to forty minutes of classic lo-fi tracks with some throwbacks to the OG days. This mix is coming in just shy of the release of @goooodluck's remix for Kleinefrigo's track 'Blue Everyday' on 2nd of September 2022, proceeds from the remix will be donated to a charity focusing on mental health. MIX SESSION #25 | Adam Emil & Slim Hustla

Today we welcome Baeside in the mix series.  This Texas native does mostly self releases, but also had a few tracks out on @welofi. Baeside's inspirations draw largely from late 90s- early 00s trance pioneered most notably by Hook Recordings, Boards of Canada, and 90s snes JRPGs. This guestmix is a love letter to Spring ‘17 which is when he first discovered lofi house.
