Truth Chronicles Vol 24(Nov 2014)-  Mixed by TRUTH (Free Download)

death trap hailing from Wollongong, meaning something akin to 5 cloud island in the Dharawal language, has graced the Hustledem with 3 tracks for the first Dub Hustle fundraiser EP. 3 tracks of a version excursion nature - pure, unadulterated grime. As Daseplate describes death trap productions essence "sounds like art" & "dubstep factory racing", he's made a super unique sound of unrushed, spacious soundtrack-esque instrumental grime riddims.

3 Mile Height refers to the West Papuans still living & resisting the Indonesian occupation of their ancestral lands, the Star Mountains. The peak of the mountain range measures just under 3 miles (15,617 ft). The use of Arabic characters for "Mile Height" connects the plight of the West Papuan people to those of all First Nations people in particular to the supercharged colonisation of the Levant (Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq & so on)

This EP is to raise funds for the ongoing fight to survive for the West Papuan sovereign solidarity movement.

"Few producers embody the very definition of psychedelic bass music like Whitebear does. His latest release further defines this sound, twisting basslines and surfing soundscapes like it is nobody's business. He has just finished up a pretty ferocious Australian summer, throwing down to packed dance floors all over the country. This last month he released his 5th EP MOR, and he is about to head back to the US for a massive run of dates at festivals and venues throughout the summer. We managed to sneak in a visit to the pub for a few beers and a chat before he leaves Australia for the winter."
