The new 4 piece live-electronic band, Adaboi, has achieved a unique analog sound with their fresh take on future funk trill music. Moreland III (from projects Bitch Please, EP3, Tryptamine, Derek Foreal & Morphology) grab vintage instruments then team up with jazz drummer Tyler Little & Sam Flowers on horns/keys (both from Sexual Disaster Quartet) to record/preform, the product is a warm digital disco hybrid. Charles F. Moreland III has always used textural sounds in his production of all different genres of music produced by him in the past.  Focusing on these meditative elements he enjoys so much spawned "Room Tone"  his first all ambient release to date.  Along with Moreland's modular synth and field recorder, other acoustic elements such as flutes and accordions weave together from relaxing abstract melodies to dark drones of cerebral ecstasy.

Distant sounds while floating over plastic landscapes weave together to show you your future self. “Fortuner” is an ambient musical transport by the experimental electronic duo Tryptamine. The collaborative efforts of Tristin Morin (aka Futurebum) & Charles F. Moreland III create a meditative stream of consciousness soundtrack to the multiverse. Video directed by Charles F. Between the 17th and 18th century, the Mayans had a secret weapon: The Chilam Bilam, or the Jaguar Priest. Chosen at birth, they kept this prophet underground never to see the light of the sun. Down beneath the earth’s surface, the Chilam Bilam would go into various trance states, compiling esoteric writings under his namesake. The village paid close attention to his many predictions, which signaled everything from famine to the invasion of the Spaniards.

Tryptamine’s now fifth release, Jaguar Priest, sets out to shed light on this forgotten enigmatic figure. This EP is a love letter to forgotten ritual and magick; a retroactive soundtrack to an arcane moment in humanity's timeline. Beginning with the sweeping tribal cadence of “Balam” (opening a specific pathway for the tracks that follow), to the freighted ambient tissue of the EP’s closer, “Fortuner”, Jaguar Priest will be sure to clear a path through the alchemical fog.

“Unrequited” is an electronic album featuring a collection of melancholy lost-love anthems generated solely with acoustic instruments & vintage gear.  Melding these live organic sounds ranging from glockenspiel, upright bass, guitars, dulcimers, accordion into field recordings, vintage keyboards, analog synthesizers, and a multitude of percussion; “Unrequited” has audibly authentic emotional character unique to electronic producers.  Providing sample material, Charles used a plethora of guest musicians including Tristin Morin (aka Futurebum) on classical guitar, Tyler Little (of Sexual Disaster Quartet) on drums, Kirk Reynolds (of Goldenrod) on keyboards, and Byron Farrar on cello.
