PREVOLUTION - A Collab Compilation.

It's been such a long time coming that I release this compilation. I wanted to have this released like 2 years ago, but because of some personal issues and major procrastination, it got delayed more and more. And then more. This compilation is like a little time capsule now from 2019 to 2024. 2025 being the release year.

I wanted to take a break from releasing to take my time and work on a new branding, a new sound, and upgrade the quality of my music. But I still had a lot of collabs I once agreed to do. So I thought it'd be fun to make a compilation with all those collabs and make that the end of this era of the Tryzon project. Of course, that turned out to be waaay more work than I would've thought. 3 years later, everything was finished. But the release got delayed and delayed like I said. Now we're another 2 years later. Some collaborators had already started going into a new direction (that's why the mystery collabs), some even quit in the meantime, collabs were scrapped, new ones were added, older tracks needed an updated mix, it wouldn't stop. But finally I'm super super happy to have this out now, giving me that break I planned to have years ago, and work on the future sound of this project. But through the (quite unnecessary) stress and the sweat, I still had tons of fun creating every one of these tracks on PREVOLUTION. And I'm thankful for all the other artists on here who've put up with the long wait. A lot of these tracks pushed me, as well as the other artist, out of their comfort zone, creating something we weren't used to. Like picking a genre we've never tried before, or a certain style we aren't used to making, or trying out new techniques to get certain sounds. And I find that really cool that they were down for that!

ANYWAYS, it's here now, hopefully you enjoy some (or all haha) of these tracks, and if you're reading this, thank you so much for taking your time to listen to this compilation, and thank you for reading this :))))

(P.S. I don't want to call this an album, because every track is its own thing. There is no coherence or storytelling through the compilation. It's more of a "compiled" collection of music.)

'Bloodshed' 🩸🏚 | With: Yaiba | Track finished: 2021

This track started end of 2020 and was finished a couple of months later, so this release was LOOONG overdue!!! Me and Yaiba were in college together and found out about each other that we both produced! So we started working on something and it came out very interesting! A bit of a twisted atmosphere, punchy hybrid trap, interesting and fast drum work, and a good amount of bass!!

Yaiba doesn't make music anymore as of today, but I still want to give credit to him for creating this awesome track with me! He's great at creating unique drums like you hear in the second drop and creating these twisted atmospheres and tones!

This track started in August 2021 when the homie Nuik sent an intro of a track he was working on to a discord server, and said he didn't know what to do for the drop. I played it, and instantly could hear this whole melodic drum & bass track in my head. So I asked him to send it over RIGHT NOW, and so I started working on the first drop. He liked where this was going, so we sent the track back and forth, worked on it on and off, and around a year later, it was finished. So it was quite a bit of a wait, but it's finally here now! I hope you enjoy!!

In 2021 Sharptouth hit me up via Newgrounds if I needed some vocal work done, and I had this fun track laying around that felt like it could need some voice work on it. And so the idea of a commentator of a "Death Race" came to be. The track now feels like a scene from a movie with the additional sound fx and ambience from this Death Race. The track is exciting, fast paced, has cool twists and turns and has minimal parts that give you tunnel vision just before the rest fades back into focus. Just like experiencing a dangerous race!! Sharptouth killed it with the voice work!

Me and Invalid randomly met when I was an intern at a video company and he worked there. Shortly after, we found out about each other that we both produce (bass) music, so it didn't take long before we started working on something together. This collab went so smoothly and we complemented each other so well. This awesome track is the result of this and we're loving how it turned out!!! It was tons of fun to make! I hope you'll like it as much as we do!!

Me and Nevrous (Now mostly releasing as 'Evora') are homies since middle school and we started producing around the same time. So It's insane that we haven't put out a single together yet. Until now that is! This project was a tough one, but we liked it enough that we continued working on it. It has many variations and project files, we had to export sounds to make room for more mixer tracks (producers will know), over 100 hours spent on making this track. It's been a while since this is finished, but now it's finally the time to show it to the public. A six minute journey through chill vibes, cinematic parts, heavy bass, switchups, bit of jokes, and a big melodic drop at the end. Enjoy :)))

Wolfy Jr. (Jason) and I were in the same class in college, and we were both heavily into music. Wolfy Jr. is also into bass music, but mostly into rap, which he had a really nice voice for himself. So for this special, chapter closing track, I was really stoked to have him do the vocals that I wrote for this. They sound so good!!! Huge thanks for that. This track is named after the compilation, because this is the last track (apart from a few side-releases poooossibly still dripping out) before the evolution of the Tryzon project. (Pre-evolution if you will, or, PREVOLUTION).

The lyrics are about how I started out just placing some kicks and I was hooked to making music. It sounded terrible, but in my eyes those "songs" were bangers. And once I started releasing music online I just made everything that I could come up with, and everything that ended up finished I just released. Now that I'm more experienced, I want to hold back with that a little bit. I want to put more thought into the music, and have a better quality control. Not everything HAS to be released. So I want to take a break, up my quality, my sound, my brand, narrow down my genre-selection a bit, and then when I'm confident enough, I will start putting out better quality tracks as well as start reaching out to labels, but the most important thing is that I want to be truly happy with my skills and my art.

DOJE has some very calm, but detailed music and is such a nice person overall. I met DOJE via the label Frostfyre and have gotten a ton of support from him from the beginning. DOJE once sent this sound that sounded like some sort of synthesized flute (or, yuppp, a WHISTLE IN THE WIND), which is the main bass in this track, and I immediately had an idea to make some nice liquid drum & bass out of it. And so our collab came to be. The nice drum work and additional airy sounds from DOJE made the track complete. It's a chill song, but it still has some energy behind it. Love how it turned out. Just vibe out, zone out, bop your head and let it take you :)

Viridity and I met online via discord in the server of the label Frostfyre a good couple of years ago. We tried some collaborations but you know how that goes, you get busy, things slow down and they get put into the "dead projects" folder haha. But! I really wanted this collab to be kept alive so the homie Viridity could still join in on this compilation. I'm happy to have him on here. We've made Electro which we both were completely new to, but I think it worked out great in the end! Beautiful melodies, video game vibes, and hype drops! Viridity doesn't make bass music as Viridity anymore, but I'm glad he still wanted to release Highflier with me.

Isonium and I met via Instagram and we linked up online to do a collab together. Originally, we tried some Baile Funk/Hybrid Trap combo, but that tune didn't work out for us, so we went with some energetic drum & bass!! Isonium really went hard on the melody writing and the retro video game sound! Makes it a perfect track to listen to while gaming! I've made some really cool sounds and basses I still love. The main bass that starts narrow but gets bigger and wider was inspired from Andy C - Back & Forth. It's been finished for over 4 years now, but I still can't stop moving listening to this, so I hope you can't as well! Enjoy this ADHD DnB!!!

I wrote this track in 2022, but it needed some vocals to make certain parts more interesting. I asked around who could do this angry type of vocals, and that is where ViviX came to the rescue! I did the intro, ViviX and I the part after that, layered together, and during the last buildup and drop, it's all ViviX! It's a pretty aggressive dubstep track, but he matched the energy perfectly! This track is a nice angry stomper to add to the compilation! I hope you enjoy it!!

It took years for this compilation to finally be finished, so ultimately, things can change in that time. The artist I worked on this track with decided to go in a new direction with their music. And this track wouldn't fit in with the rest of their project anymore. They suggested that I could release it as myself, but I don't want to take all credit when we both did 50% of the track. So I decided with them that I would release it on my own, but make it a "mystery collab", keeping their identity a secret. Not all credit to me, but half the credit to the... mystery artist. Y'know, for the principle :)

A fun fact, me and NAED are homies since basically birth lol, our parents were friends before we were even put on this floating rock. But it wasn't until not too long before this release that NAED started getting into music production. So it spoke for itself that we had to work on something together. We occasionally have a production session at my place, and start many projects. Of course, we barely finish any before starting a new one haha. But this track is the first one we've 100% finished! Weeeelll... 100%? Not reaaally, as it needed one more final mix, BUT the project file just disappeared in thin air. Never to be seen again (ironic lol). So, we've settled with this version, because it still slaps and we're happy that we got our first full tune together released!!

A pumping techno tune with a dark, industrial atmosphere and even darker lyrics (that we totally didn't find by searching for dark quotes on the internet and me voicing them on the mic).

"Sonorous - Used to describe sound or speech that is full, rich, and deep" Perfect title for this deep house track containing deep, full and rich basses! Ahrian usually makes very calm, relaxing and just really smooth music, having a really organic feel. So us starting a deep house track was something totally new! And for me as well! I never made house with this deeper, boomy approach! So I was heavily inspired by the artist Kage and took some notes when listening to Snavs & Kage - Trippy (Kage VIP), so credit where it is due haha. Ahrian came through with the intro, bridge, and outro, the floaty ambiance, and the organic drum work. While I focused on making the drops!

This track was such a funny concept to work on. The homie Semblance's specialty is working with organic instruments, playing piano, creating peaceful melodies, and creating a beautiful atmosphere. So! I took that, let him do his thing, and then I THREW THAT AROUND 180 DEGREES! Hype buildup, energetic bass house drop, punchy drums and basses, and then... it turns around again. Ahhhhh... Throwing you back in this peaceful landscape... Catch your breath... Follow the melody... Until round 2 starts!! I've never heard this combo before, which makes this track a lot of fun! Float away here, and jump around there! :D

I've known Gissa Lutas since way back in high school, but we've never really linked up or hung out until we met again, a couple of years later, at a friend's birthday party. We talked, and Gissa Lutas said he was also starting to get into producing (next to already playing the guitar). Now, we're having some fun music sessions at each other's places, and so, after starting many projects but never finishing one, this track Castaway was the lucky first to finally be finished! (about 2 years ago now though, haha, oops!)

It started with a melody Gissa Lutas improvised on his guitar right there on the spot, and I was hooked instantly. "YES! DUDE WE GOTTA MAKE SOMETHING WITH THIS!" it immediately gave me some stranded-boat-at-an-island-beach vibes. Which is the theme that's sprinkled through the entire track. Hence the title :)
