My first submission to the Music Weeklies Challenge! With the theme this week being writing exclusively for two instruments: in this case, harp and violin. As I was writing though, I got inspired to try and make a little story through sound design.

Each section of the piece emphasizes a long journey through a forest. Beginning in the morning, into the afternoon, evening, and then passing into dawn and beyond.

Through the Wald

My second submission to the Music Weeklies Challenge! This week's challenge was to write a tune for a road trip! I went through a variety of styles ideas when woodshedding this tune, but in the end, but in the end, I got hooked on giving it a sort of "tropical" feel. A road trip down to the southern coast.

My third entry for @MusicWeeklies! This time, their #Himalaya challenge!

This piece was extremely fun and unique to put together. I wanted to write something raw, and sorta primal, with a kind of boom you'd hear right when passing through a mountain cavern: the instruments practically fighting over who can be heard more,

Here's my submission to @musicweeklies #Wastelands challenge! For this tune, I was kind of imagining up an abandoned radio station left in a bombed out desert: the echoes of whoever or whatever once ran it made to loop in the background. I was inspired a lot by Mark Morgan's ambient composition style for the old #Fallout games. Absolutely haunting stuff.

Electrical Interference

A commission from a friend for a romhack he's making! I was asked to try and emulate the Gameboy Advance Fire Emblem soundfonts with this piece, so I took a swing at it! Did my best to try and remain loyal to the capabilities of the system. Used some old tricks to vaguely emulate elements of reverb on a few instruments, as well as researched the track limits that were typical for the hardware, so I wouldn't do something too beefy for the equipment at hand.

Regional Winds

A jazz arrangement of some of the themes from Hideyuki Fukasawa's score to "Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]." Done mostly as a test of SWAM Saxophones.
